My DD, 4 years old, is taking her 1st WDW trip without mommy and daddy!!!

She flew out of NOLA this morning and refused to give DW and I hugs and kisses b/c she was so excited to go back to Disney and is stoked about MNSSHP!!!

She's going with her 2 grandmothers and 1st cousin, 3 years old (his 1st WDW trip ever)!!!

I'm really excited for them, sad for us (being without our child)! We covered their room giving them a 1BR at VWL, which we were very happy to do.

I hope they love it, but also hope time goes fast!!!!

So send us some pixie dust--DW REALLY NEEDS IT!!!!!! :scared:

Wow!

You wanted pixie dust, you got it from me!pixiedust:

What a gift you have given the 2 DGM's! Is there any chance that you guys can get over to WDW and just make it all that much sweeter!

Bobbi:goodvibes

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Hers;s some PD for all three of you- As a GM who got to take DGD several times when she was that age and through the years I can only imagaine how much your DMs are enjoying themselves. It was always a really special time for us and my DGD now 21 1/2 still likes to go whenever invited and also has many special trips with her mother so it doesn't take away from what you share just adds new dimension.

Here's some pixie dust for all of you! pixiedust:
Hope they have a safe and wonderful trip! As for you and DW......:rolleyes1 enjoy your time together!

I'll give you some pixie dust too, because as a parent, I am sure that you will be on pins and needles when your little DD is at WDW. pixiedust:

What a wonderful gift for the GM's !!! Time alone with grandchildren and the ability to spend it in WDW....

They will be back before you know it. Enjoy your time alone, that's important too !

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Here's tons from me. We love taking our little DGS to WDW! Of course his DM and DD always come along too because they love it as much as he does. LoL Enjoy your time alone together. She'll be back before you know it with lots of neat stories to tell. What wonderful parents you are for helping grandma to do this even though you'll miss your little princess like crazy. Oh heck, here's one more. pixiedust:

 What a wonderful gift for your DD and I know how much she will remember and share when she returns. My husband and I took our 4yr. old twin grandbabies in Sept. for 8 days to WDW without Mom and Dad. Our DD and SIL called every day because they missed the kids so much but the time went by so quickly. We're busy putting together our scrap book of pictures and DGkids with say, remember when. I'm certain that you wll have many magical moments as she relives her experiences with you. So wrap your arms around you and a big hug from your darling princess.princess:

Thanks folks, all of you!

Wish DW and I were alone, but DS (1 y.o.) is at home getting over pneumonia!

I spoke to DD last night, "Hey, Daddy, I love you, okay, bye!"

That was it--she's having a blast--took MIL (who is scared of heights) on Dumbo and went "all the way to the top!"

They also love their 1 BR @ VWL--said it's awesome!!!

Thanks again!
