I posted this on the budget board too, but thought you all might have some info. I am hoping to get a discount for the super shuttle for september. Does anyone know of any?

TIA

Sarah

I'm certain that they offer an Entertainment Book discount, and from what I remember it brings the rate down to $8.00 each way.

I'm not sure yet. I went on to the entertainment book website and can't seem to find one for Super Shuttle but I will keep looking and post if I find anything. Does anyone else have the answer?

Sorry Sarah, I should have clarified. Stacielee (Diva) made ressies for us last year, and did it again for this most recent trip. She used the Ent. discount for SNA to HoJo and it was $8 each way. You might want to PM her.

Just got back from my DLR trip. I had the worst experience with Supershuttle ever...will definitely not be recommending them to anybody else. From the airport (LAX) to the hotel the guy drove like a nut case...we all thought we would be in an accident. We then tipped the guy and he was pissed of and actually asked for a bigger tip!!!! From the hotel back to LAX on Saturday...we were never picked up at our scheduled time. Another guy eventually picked us up....by this point we were already late for the airport. The hotel informed us that we would be going straight to LAX. This was not the case at all. We had 3 other stops to make. I informed the supershuttle driver that I was informed the he would not be making anyother stops. He got ticked off and told me that "he was doing us a favour by picking us up as we were not on his scheduled stop" (those were his exact words). We got to the airport an hour before our flight left and had to still check in and get through security. After this experience, I will definitely not be using supershuttle again and will book with someone else. Supershuttle was totally unprofessional (you don't ask for a bigger tip), and they certainly don't care about there customer/business since the drive like maniacs and speak very rudely to their customers. BEWARE OF SUPERSHUTTLE!!

Huh, bummer about your experience. I have used them many times in the past and only 1 time did I think the person's driving left something to be desired. Besides that I have had nothing but on time and friendly, if not english speaking, service.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience, that's too bad. :sad1: I hope you contacted them afterward and let them know.

We had a great experience with them on both trips. Drivers were very nice, prompt, and safe drivers.

Here's another site that lists some discounts: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/supershuttle.com
