Supernatural Experiences

The only thing close to supernatural I experienced was that when I was little, I woke up and my raggedy ann and andy dolls were talking to me. I can safely say that they stayed in the basement for the rest of my childhood and still continue to stay there.

I believe in God and some "God winks" as a poster before me stated with their angel story.

My grandparents both died last year, within two months of each other. A few weeks ago, we were all sitting in my parents' room, at about 10 at night. All of a sudden, my two year old bro sat up and just stared into space. My mom asked him what he was looking at, and he said "Grandma's ghost". But he didn't even know what a ghost was.

My friend Brittany's beach house used to be a hospice and it's haunted by who they think was a nurse who worked there. She's nice, according to what they say, but when me and all of my friends stayed down there for the weekend, none of us could sleep except Brittany. It was so creepy!!

I don't know if this counts, but deceased family members have visited me in dreams and such.

I also tried the Bloody Mary thing, where you look into a mirror in a dark room with a knife sitting by the mirror and repeat her name 3 times. Nothing happened.

ETA: My job is haunted too. I was at work one night when my manager called me up to the office. I thought I was in trouble or something. I opened the door and she asked if I could just sit up in the office with her as should counted the register money drawers. She said that the hole punch was sitting in it's usual spot up on a shelf, then when she looked again, it was sitting on top of the money she was counting, and she didn't touch it. She also told me that the other managers have had random things come flying at their face when they were up there. And a couple days ago, I was working the overstock shelved in the back room and I saw some figure walking nearby me. I thought it was just another one of the workers, but I didn't remember hearing the doors open. I looked again and there was nothing there. Then I heard a crash. I tried to stay calm and continue my work, but I quietly said, "I'm nice. I'm not here to hurt you. Please leave me alone. I just want to do my job." I was really freaked out.

oh yes. i deffinitley believe in ghosts.

ive had way too many experiences to list them all.

but my brothers girlfriends house deffinitley has to be the most haunted place ive ever been. her father had recently died, and the day of the funeral, her mother was staying with aunt and she had asked my brother and i if we wouldnt mind taking her to her house to get a few things (she didnt want to stay there alone). So we of course took her over, and at first we were just going to wait in the car (seeing as we reaaallly didnt want to go into a house that a man had just died in) but a few minutes after she went in, she came back out screaming and sobbing. She told us that she could "hear something" from her parents bedroom. So being "brave" we did go into the house to prove it was one of her dogs or something. So we walked really quietly to the top of her stairs, and once there we didn't hear anything. But a second later we heard this unhuman screech and clawing and I seriously have never seen my brother move that fast in his life. He turned around grabbed me the waist and flew down the stairs and out of that house.

but ive seen shadows, heard voices, seen clues of someone being there when there wasnt anyone in the first place.

I have two good stories...

One time when I was about 6 years old I was saying my prayers before bed and I (just out of instinct) prayed for "that man." My Dad just shrugged it off and tucked me in. Before I went to sleep I asked him "what will we do when the man comes to our house tonight." And he said he would protect me, but he still didn't beleive anything. Then I had the worst nightmare I have ever had. In my nightmare there was someone coming in through my window and kidnaping me. I then woke up to my house alarm sounding. (Now in real life...I was really awake) My Dad runs downstairs to see someone trying to break into my house.
I swear it was like a premonition (sp?) or something. It kind of freaks me out.

More recently I think I saw a UFO. I was looking out my window and saw a shooting star (so I thought). And I started to wish on it...then it came lower...and blue and red and green lights started flashing. It was way too low to be a plane, and it was really late so I don't think it was a helicopter. I geuss I will never know.

I do believe,
and last night I was taking a video, and when I went back to watch it, there is a random noise that is there and someone else in the room..
but when I took the movie..I was alone :/

Wait, Elyse, that guy in the background moving stuff, are you sure he's not like your brother or dad or something?
That creeped me out. I can't imagine how you felt when you first watched it..

I'm sure O.o
My dad is in Las Vegas, and I dont have any brothers.
In that movie, it looks like..whatever that is, is folding clothes, or something

Yeah, that's seriously creepy.
Ooo, now I'm all freaked out lol.

-Heart attack-
OMG. That's scary scary scary.
Great...
I watched it and I thought the guy was your dad too.

I would have thought it was him playing a trick on me, because it sorta looks like him..
be he is in Vegas, so theres no way

When I first watched that video Elyse I was like "*** do you think we're stupid or something? I know you're dad is there"
But after reading...that freaks me out..just a tad

This didn't happen to me, but it happened to my mom. My mom's dad died when she was 8, and a few nights after his death; she woke up and saw her dad at the end of her bed. He said "Everything is okay Jen, I'm fine, tell your brother and sisters and mommy that I'm okay and I love them"

I HATE furbys!!! mine wouldn't shut off!

anyway! :D I haven't had any expirences but I love to see shows on ghosts and demons and devils and stuff.

That reminds me of a story me dad told me.
His friend's dad died and this lady that he hardly knew came up to him a few weeks after saying she had to tell him about this dream she had.
And she said that his dad was sitting in a rocking chair holding a baby and told her to tell his son that he was okay and the baby, and he used the baby's name.
My dads friend was shocked because his mom and dad had a miscarriage baby, and they hadn't told anyone but close family about it, and this lady he hardly knew, knew the baby's name and everything.

That creeped me out.

Sorry for bringing this back up;; I had stuff to do yesterday and I couldn't post.

My house is haunted. I have no problem with it.

Seriously. After watching that video, I went up into my room and said aloud "Listen, I have no intention to hurt you. I know you're here. You can stay as long as you like". I felt like I was talking to myself,,,:rotfl:.

I have way too many ghost encounters to name. Here are my three favorites:

1. This was something that happened to my dad's friend. There was a woman, a priest, and my dad's friend. The woman had cancer. The woman and the priest used to pretend to argue about what God has in heaven. The woman says dogs are in heaven, and the priest would say no, that chocolate is in heaven. Well one day the woman got too sick from cancer and she passed away. Well this is where my dad's friend comes in. One night my dad's friend, who had no idea of this little "argument" that the priest and the woman had but he knew the woman, had a dream. And in that dream, he looked out his bedroom window and saw a lush fields and everything was perfect and beautiful. And then he saw the woman. She came over to him and said "Hey look, I want you to meet my dog, Chocolate." When he woke up from the dream, he told the priest his dream. And the priest just started crying because he knew she was reaching out to him.

2. One night my mom, cousin, and my dad were sitting down. It was 3:00 in the morning. Some paranormal things were happening around my house, but they stopped for a bit. My cousin was like, "So how are things around here with the ghosts?" and my dad had just gotten finished saying, "We haven't seen anything for a while" when a little toy car flew across off the counter.

3. This is the creepiest in my opinion. Before we lived in my house, there was a family here. One of the girls was Maryian. Well they all lived (and died) in this house. My dad was working on putting a carpet in my room. At that time, there was a door on my closet. Suddednly, my dog ran out of the room with his ears and tail down. My dad stopped what he was doing to comfort him, when suddendly, the carpet started rolling UPHILL. Then my closet door, which was closed, swung open. And on the inside of the door it said "Maryian, you have sinned against thee". My dad grabbed my dog and drove out of there faster then he ever has. And he swore he could see a figure watching him from the window.

Oh;; and then when I was a baby, there were orbs in my room. And I used to say that there was a woman watching over my bed. It used to scare me;; and my dad was like "If you don't stop bothering my daughter, I will burn this house down and move my family" I never did see that woman again.

Oh, I just thought of another one.

My friend Beth was convinced that her house was haunted, and we didn't believe her.

Then one night, we were hanging out in her living room, and we all had our cameras and were taking pictures, but not looking at them. After we left, my friend Danielle was like "WTH? Look at my pictures."
All of the pictures from the family room, on ALL of our cameras, had these hundreds of little orbs in them. But the pictures from the kitchen, which was next to it and has the exact same lighting, had no orbs at all. It was weird.

Elyse that video scared the crap out of me! I really thought that was like your dad or someone. And that noise was really freaky too!

hmm... i remember watch a Most Haunted Live about Shakespeare at halloween time. We had the fire on. After a while we noticed that one of the large candles by the fire had melted and formed a face. Well the fire wasn't on a high heat, the candle wasn't warm or waxy, there was a candle closer to the fire which hadn't melted at all and the face kind of looked like Shakespeare...

in response to everyone saying about having experiences when they were younger, i remember reading or hearing that children about 5 and under have more paranormal experiences for some reason in the fact that smaller children can see ghosts or something...

i hate my room. It always cold and i hear noises in the night so i leave my fan on all year round to drown out noises. I remember once hearing a noise of someone in the room with me and playing on a gameboy (i could hear the mario theme music) which sounds crazy. Also once when i was sleeping, i could see through my eyelids a green light but i couldn't move or open my eyes or anything and after the light went i could move again but i wouldn't open my eyes as i was too scared.

i remember walking home once and i went down an alleyway and someone was in front of me. He was walking along and turned a corner around a doorway of a church and i didn't see him leave so i checked if there was a door past the doorway and there was nothing.

I do believe in all of that stuff..

I was getting ready for marching band practice last season and was in the bathroom straightening my hair. I was looking at myself in the mirror and I saw this dark figure of someone standing in the hall way. I turned around and it was gone
