Much to my dismay....my DS3 wants to have a Superhero Party for his 4th Birthday. He would not be swayed to Disney  Anyway. Does anyone have premade invites I can add my own info to? I don't know when the party is going to be becuase I'm waiting on my MIL to decide when she's going on vaca so that I can plan his party. Any superheros will do. His favs are spider man, superman, and batman.
Thanks!

Don't be dismayed!!! No matter how wonderful Disney is...there are other things out there. A Super Hero Party can be lots of fun to plan and throw. Go to www.birthdaypartyideas.com for lots of great ideas on decorations, favors, games, etc. There are tons of threads for different super heroes and one main thread for just a "super hero" party.

Here is a link to a list of their kids party ideas:

You will probably get bogged down looking at all of the post so I suggest looking at the winners, special mentions and honorable mentions.

Here is a classic simple super hero design. Also, please don't quote the images as it takes up linking space that I can't delete and if you do like it...please save it so I can delete and make room for other requests in my photobucket. Thanks!

I made all of these 5x7 so that you can print them at home on cardstock or at a photo shop to save on ink (it is much cheaper to print at a photoshop). If you do print at a photo shop, have them print it on matte photo paper. Get a matching cardstock in either navy, red or yellow to give the invitation more weight and to give it a more professional look by attaching it to the back side of the invitation.

If you like it and need help personalizing send me a pm with the party specifics and your email address so I can send it to you.

NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE OP AND NEEDED THE SPACE IN MY PHOTOBUCKET SO I DELETED THE IMAGES FOR THE INVITES THAT I MADE...I POSTED MOST OF THEM IN MY 4SHARED ACCOUNT IN THE LINK IN MY SIGNATURE IN THE "BLANK INVITATION" FILE

One more thing...a link to a cute way to make "super hero" capes out of towels. These would make cute party favors if you have the time, money and a sewing machine:

Dolly,

These are great! My 3-year old son just got invited to a super-hero Birthday party this Saturday. These would be great to use as the card for the little boy...thank you!

I made matching candy bar wrappers for these and put them in my 4shared file in the link in my signature. Look in the "candy wrapper" file and then "candy bar wrappers". These were made for regular hershey milk chocolate bars and the wrappers. When you go to print they should be 5.25x5.5 inches. The best paper to use is glossy brochure paper that you can find at office supply stores but regular or cardstock paper works as well.

You can add your child's name and/or "3rd Birthday" or date of the party to the middle of the design before printing. If you need help let me know.

You are awesome Dolly! I love these designs. I'm looking for lego star wars or spiderman for my son, Adam's 5th birthday. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!

for Adam!

Rustmanfan...THAT IS SO AWESOME! I'm sure Adam is going to love it. Now he is going to have a hard time deciding.

Thanks so much!:worship:

Here are some possible invitations. If you like one of them and need help personalizing send me a pm with your email address and the party specifics:

I DELETED THESE IMAGES TO MAKE ROOM IN MY PHOTOBUCKET BUT THEY CAN STILL BE FOUND IN MY 4SHARED FILE IN THE "BLANK INVITATION" FILE

Oh Dolly!!! Wonderful......just showed Adam and he went straight for the Lego Star Wars. I will PM you when the details are finalized which should be by Sunday.

Thank you so much RustManFan and ivgotahalo (sorry I hijacked your thread!) I so want to learn how to do this and give back here. I am still learning though.

You DISigners are awesome!:woohoo:

Jedi Training Certificate...in case you can use it for your party:

ALSO POSTED IN MY 4SHARED FILE...

Here are a few games that I ran across:

Lightsaber Training – have the kids use their lightsabers to try and keep balloons in the air

Astroid Hunt – wrap candy or small toys in foil and hide. Have the kids go “hunting” for them.

Free Hans Solo – freeze two Hans Solo action figures (or Lego mini-figs!) in ice. Divide the kids into two teams and have them take turns filling a cup or bucket with water and dumping it on Hans Solo. The first team to melt the ice and “free” Hans Solo, wins!

Destroy the Death Star – draw the Death Star on the driveway or patio with chalk and have the kids bomb it with water balloons until it is “destroyed” (disappears). OR — make a Death Star pinata and have the kids whack it until it explodes!
