It's about time!!!

Good news.

Apparently they are still doing flyover rescues of people trapped in homes.

Where are the people they are still rescuing staying until they are evacuated? Fox interviewed a mother with 4 kids with her on I-10 that had just arrived there so they will have to be evacuated out and I am sure there will be others. At least all the other people that have been there for days are out.

I don't believe I-10 is done but not sure. But at least they aren't taking anyone downtown anymore!!!

I think they did the busses and such.

A copter pilot just interviewed--was going to pick up people on a bridge as well.

Families with children.

He said able bodied men were saying they were getting on the next chopper. And he told them "no your not". I don't know why--but the way he said it made me laugh.

Earlier they said the last person had been picked up from I-10 but it sounds like more people have arrived there. That was around 5:45pm New Orleans time. They may be keeping the new arrivals there since the Superdome and Convention Center are in such bad shape.
