Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

I don't want to push you into something you don't want to do.......but I LOVE ToT----it is such a wonderfully themed ride!!! I know the whole drop thing can be scary, but you will make it through it!!!!

:faint: WHERE is your mention of Hollywood Brown Derby in your Hollywood Studios update??? :faint:

You look cute in your 3-D glasses!

The Alien section of Movie Ride scares me still!!

I :lovestruc One Man's Dream too!
I figured I didn't even have to mention Hollywood Brown Derby since it's such a given that I am going there!! I will rectify this for you!! :lmao:

Yeay! Disney Hollywood Studios!!!

Me too!!! I swear I think they have toned down the Alien part over the years! I remember it being far worse!
Didn't the Alien use to come down from the ceiling? He didn't in September and I was SO confused!

I am telling you -- I don't know what it will take to get me on that thing again. Dropping once was bad enough, but this whole not knowing how many times you will be dropped? Shudder, shudder, shudder, shudder!
You have never been on ToT? For some reason I thought you had been. :confused3 I really don't know if I am brave enough to do it. It scares me! :scared1:

Okay, here's me with another "Me too!" That's exactly how it makes me feel!

Yummy, yummy, yummy! I would eat at all of those!
I knew you'd understand how I felt!

Man LL, have you been on an update roll!!! :rotfl2:

Ah, I'm getting SO excited for you, all your lists of to do's sound so awesome! :goodvibes
I have been an updating fool lately. It makes my trip get here faster! :woohoo:

Great plan...as usual!! You DEFINITELY have to do ToT!! I won't take no for an answer! I have to ride solo everytime because DH and I do the baby swap thing. It's definitely the scariest ride in all of WDW for me, but the drop part isn't the scary part, it's the Twilight Zone lead up that gets me freaked!! :scared1: I get butterflies just looking at that "hotel"!! I come off hoarsly laughing my head off everytime!! :lmao:

Do it, do it, just do it!!
Really? I am so scared! The ride through did nothing to ease my fears, just increased them. I even have a ToT picture on my desktop background because I am trying to hype myself up. I don't think it's going to work. :rolleyes1

No AI?

And I looooOOOOoOOOoOOOoove Great Movie Ride as well. I love Oz, it was my favorite movie as a child and munchkinland is just perfect.

I'm so excited for your trip creeping up on us! Yay!
I figure I might hit up AI but it's not a must do by any means.

All of your plans sound great. I am a chicken and will not be going on tower of terror. The last time we went to DHS we only had a half day in the evening and hardly anything was open. I have a full day planned this time around.

Tammy
I'm glad I am not the only Chicken!! :rotfl: I love DHS, you should be able to get everything done in a full day. :thumbsup2

I don't want to push you into something you don't want to do.......but I LOVE ToT----it is such a wonderfully themed ride!!! I know the whole drop thing can be scary, but you will make it through it!!!!
I know I will survive, I just may not be the same ever again. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Hey LL just catching up on your pre trip report! My fiance and I are eating at Yak and Yeti during our April trip! I'll report back for you! :thumbsup2

Me too! When Amara was over the other night planning, she asked Chelsea which rides they should do because she knows I am a big chicken. :rotfl:
That is too funny! :goodvibes

Hello!! Oh yes, I can't wait for your report! :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear you did not win millions! :headache: I thought you had it! ;)

Love your DHS list! I have never seen that Hollywoodland sign-it's great! I love the old time movie feeling of DHS too. I think it used to be my least favorite park, but we had a GREAT day there in January (coming up on the TR!), so I have a new love for it.

ToT is SO FREAKY. For me it's not the dropping part, but the Twilight Zone part. We rode in 2006 and I was screamed "SHUT UP!" before it drops and just goes completely black and silent.

Gives me shivers just thinking about it!!

The drop part, I LOOOOOOVE! That part is thrilling to me! And don't worry, you KNOW when the ride is done, you can't unbuckle your seat belt early or anything. :goodvibes It doesn't drop to the ground except the last time and you know it's over because of the slowness and the lights coming on, etc. I promise! To encourage you a bit: the views out the windows as you are dropping are amazing! So pretty!

Have you ever read jaycn's TRs? Her family goes on crazy awesome trips, she is planning a vow renwal at WDW and is entertaining the idea of it happening ON the Great Movie Ride! How cool would that be?!

We ate at Studio Catering Company and had the grilled chicken with rice and beans. SUPER YUMMY! The chicken was just right!

Hey LL, sorry I can't keep up with your updates this week you're an updating fool!!:lmao: But I love it! And especially love the pics you're inserting of you in each of them!! They are SO cute!! You're very photogetic!!

I have to say....I would never do ToT again! :sad2: We did it in 2000 on our honeymoon and it scared me to death! We've gone to Disney 3 more times since then and I can't even listen to the people screaming outside of it, it freaks me out!! I guess I'm just a baby cause that whole free falling thing is too much for me!!!! I hope you're braver than I am, it's safe, it's Disney, I'm just not a big fan of leaving my stomach 10 stories up over and over again...lol!!:rotfl:

Okay---now you and CP really need to ride this ride---maybe I should get all pushy with you girlies!!! ;o) You won't be able to unbuckle until it really is time to go--so no need to worry about the whole unbuckling debauchle. I know neither of you care for intense rides, but there is a great adrenalin thrill that comes with them too---I know you will be okay, and I will be rooting for both of you to conquer your fears so you can both enjoy how marvelously themed this ride is...........I will understand if you still decide not to ride, but I really do think you would enjoy it!!! (Even my 58 year old dad liked it, remember????) YOU CAN DO IT GIRLIES!!!!! CAN WE DO IT......YES WE CAN!!!!

I was a TOT chicken for years as well, until I decided to chance it.....then I was hooked, it's one of my favorite rides! I love getting front row, middle seat..........:thumbsup2

I loved the theming back in '98 -- maybe I will try. Maybe...

Here's a question: I know there are just seat belts -- is there at least a handle beside you to hold on to?

Ughhh -- the idea of front row, middle seat makes me feel all queasy inside.

I just don't know if I can do it. It's freaky!! How cool is a vow renewal on The Great Movie Ride!!! I wonder if they'd do one on the Carousel of Progress!? :rotfl2:

Awww thanks!! I've loved looking at my trip pictures this week, brings back a lot of happy memories.

I hate the idea of free falling. I am famous for having those dreams where you feel like you are falling and I wake up screaming. My neighbors must love me.

I only want to ride for the theme, isn't there a chicken exit? :lmao:

CP, maybe we should do a ToT Chicken Ride during Gnomefest!? :rotfl:
