Superbowl Sunday/Monday

We are going the first week of February, and it just dawned on me that we will be in the world for the Superbowl. I highly doubt that it will be a "must watch" for us, I dont see my Brownies getting there this year, or decade for that matter, but are there any popular places to watch the game other than ESPN Zone?

Has anyone ever been there the Monday after the game and seen the MVP in the parade? I would assume it would be the 3:00 parade at MK?

I highly doubt either answer will actually matter, I don't see either the game or parade really creeping into the thoughts/plans of my wife!!

The parade is held at MGM (DHS), not MK, the times I have gone. Almost all of the resort's lounges and community halls will have a big screen.

We were there this past February at BLT and had ressies at Chef Mickey's during the Super Bowl and the food court area (near Chef Mickey's) was showing the game....

We saw Drew Breese in MK last year on Monday. I don't know if he was in the parade, but he was being interviewed and filmed outside the castle.

Last year, the parade was held at MK around 12n and Drew rode in a car with Mickey. It was sort of cool, but it took up more of our time waiting for everyone to get organized then I really cared... The year before, I was sure it was in MK as well, but I wasn't there.

During the Superbowl, we went to House of Blues for dinner and it was nearly empty. It was sooooo cold that week and WDW was more packed than I'd ever like it to be, but there were people left over from the snow storm and it was the week before Valentines Day, and Mardi Gras, and something else was big too... Maybe because Superbowl and Daytona 500 were nearby. We have a few pics of Brees and Mickey, but we should have taken the time to ride the rides instead, maybe I'd have felt different if it had been the Steelers!

When the Steelers won 2 years ago, I think Santonio Holmes was at MK.

ADD ON: At MGM back in the 90's. I do not want to disagree with those who have more recent information.

When the Steelers won 2 years ago, I think Santonio Holmes was at MK.

Yep - we were there when the Steelers won the Super Bowl and Santonio Holmes was in MK - the wait for the 'parade' was MUCH longer then the actual parade - if you want to call it one. They put the MVP in a car with Team Mickey and ride down Main St - they drove so fast I barely had time to snap a picture.

But it was definitely an experience that we never had before and it is my DH's team - so that was cool.
