Superbowl Menu

We are having a SOUPer Bowl party. We are having a party where people are bringing in different kinds of soup. I am excited about the soup. I don’t care about watching the ballgame.
That's a fun idea!

We are doing all appetizers/snacky type stuff:

Cheesesteak bread
Pigs in a blanket
DH's family dip with tortilla chips
Chips and dips
Fondue with dippers
Bacon wrapped brown sugar chicken bites
Pizza rolls
Pretzel toffee

(I think that's it and it's more than enough for sure)

We are staying in and not having anyone over due to weather (expecting 6-10 inches of snow tonight/tomorrow). We have an assortment of snacks. We will see what we are in the mood for. Options include:

Wings
Mozzarella sticks
Potato skins
Pigs in a blanket
Brie bites
Spinach artichoke dip
Cheese plate

Not sure what I’m making for dessert.

Just another normal day in this household. Zero interest in watching any sportsball matches. DH got some Italian sausage out of the freezer, so I guess the plan is spaghetti.

Just a simple pot of homemade chili and some fresh biscuits.
We're watching our grandson this weekend. Not sure the 16 month old really cares about the game. 🏈 Gigi & PopPop only care about the commercials and the pomp & circumstance of any military participation. 🎖️🪖

Air fryer chicken wings - buffalo style for dh and myself, Cane's sauce for dd.
Veggie tray with blue cheese and ranch (had to squeak in something semi healthy if you don't use the dip. But who are we kidding, we are using the dip.;) )
Fries - chili cheese for dh and myself, plain for dd

Beef and bean chili
Philly pretzel bites with honey mustard
Clementines

Not sure if I'll make a dessert. Kids wanted chili, and instead of our normal cornbread or tortilla chips, we got the on sale pretzel bites to cheer for our favorite team (fits the salty carb role nicely and will be fine with or without the chili)...

It's just the 5 of us, but the resident 8 year old is becoming a "sports guy" so we'll have a party with just us. Of course, he has RSV right now and is feeling pretty miserable, so I'm not sure he's as enthusiastic as he was on Thursday when we made the plan:
Pigs in blankets (hot dogs in biscuits)
Sticky chicken drumsticks
Buffalo chicken dip
Maybe celery stuffed with sun butter or cream cheese as a nod towards health!
If I get to it, I might make cupcakes and frost them red or green, or maybe just do strawberry and mint chip ice cream.
