I have not noticed things any more expensive. Plus it seems to be way too crowded to be just tourists shopping there. If the locals go it is probably not more expensive than anything eslse within driving distance.
I know we always hit the Super Target in Kissimmee when we are there for groceries and stuff. The prices are comparable to stores in any other region of the country.
There are 2 available: one on 535 (the closest one to WDW) and one on Route 27. I have found the prices are actually cheaper than in NJ, where I live. We go the first day to buy a case or two of water, my soda and some munchies for standing in line. When we rented the house, we got diswasher stuff and anything else we might need. If they jack up the prices, I've never noticed.
It's very easy to get to as well....I swear, our last vacation, we were at Walmart every other day because my MIL needed something. lol It's all good, though, I like driving, and there's lots to point out to her on our way there.
