Need to make a grocery stop we will be heading E on I-4 passing WDW, hitting Unversal for the first portion of our trip and then back to WDW.
Looking for inexpensive groceries but need to pick up a foam cooler as well.

There's a Walmart Supercenter along I-4 between WDW and Universal:

8990 Turkey Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819, (407) 351-2229

Awesome! Thank you both for the fast and detailed info!:thumbsup2

I haven't been inside. (We prefer the Whole Foods a half mile north of the Walmart Supercenter.)

It's a newer Walmart Supercenter, so it should be pretty nice (for a Walmart).

The store is in a newly developing retail area along I-4, serving Orlando's upscale Doctor Phillips neighborhood (a.k.a. restaurant row).

To be more specific to find this Walmart you need to exit Interstate 4 at exit 74A and then tun left. After that you will need to turn left onto Turkey Lake Road which is just before the Doctor Phillips area.

there is a super walmart on Sand lake rd and John young Parkway its one of the first exits after the toll booth after leaving the airport for get exit number

Heading east on I-4 to Universal, I would recommend getting off at the Sea World exit (71); keep left and turn left at the end of the ramp, go under the bridge and turn right. The Turkey Lake Wal-Mart will be 2 mi. ahead on your left, past Westgate Resort and Dr. Phillips Hospital.

If you're going to Universal after the stop, you don't need to get back on I-4. Turn left out of the Wal-Mart parking lot, go straight thru the light at Sand Lake, and the back entrance to Universal will be 1.3 mi. past the light on the right.

I'm a local and I definitely recommend the Wal Mart on Turkey Lake over the one at John Young and Sand Lake Road.
It's newer and cleaner.
