My family and I spent 3 days at the Boardwalk Inn from the 3rd July. We were originally booked to stay at the Yacht Club but had to move our trip dates forward and change accommodation at the last minute. We had no time to do much research on our new lodgings but can say without hesitation, that we would highly recommend this resort for superior service and location. We booked a Deluxe Room at Concierge Level and our expectations were pleasantly surpassed.

When we arrived in the early afternoon, our room was ready and located in very close proximity to the Innkeeper's Lounge. This was especially convenient as we have young children and it was easy to pickup milk and snacks and just take them back to the room to enjoy.

The room was not newly refurbished, but well maintained and large with a small balcony and a perfect view of the Boardwalk. My only recommendation for the room would be that a TV be placed in the small sitting area. Mousekeeping was prompt and our room was cleaned early in the day during our stay. This was good because when we returned from the parks at Lunch, our children could take a nap undisturbed.

Jase, Jackie and the Concierge team were always helpful and friendly. Food presentations were simple but tasty. Lunch offerings were limited to popcorn, chips and cookies but there was certainly enough variety for a decent continental breakfast and a light supper. Check-in and Check-out service was a breeze.

We used the Disney buses and boats without wait or any inconvenience even though it was the busy 4th of July period.

My 3-year old children enjoyed their first visit to Disneyworld so much, they have already asked "Santa" to move them there at Christmas.

That's odd that you didn't have a tv in the sitting area - I wonder if they had taken it out to fix it and forgot to put it back. There should have been one in the armoire/entertainment center in the sitting area in addition to the one by the beds.

There is a deluxe room on the 4th floor that does not have a 2nd armoire or TV. We stayed in it last year. I think it's due to the roof pitch making the width of the couch area of the room a little smaller than the other deluxe rooms. I asked if they could put a 2nd TV in there and they said "no". Some of the deluxe rooms have slightly different sizes. ie: some have a table in front of the couch, where a smaller one does not. There is not much difference in size, but I think the codes may dictate how much furniture is placed in them. :)

Wow, didn't know that. I'll have to be sure to request a room with a second tv on our next stay - we really enjoyed using the sitting area to watch tv.

Glad to hear you had a great stay!! The Boardwalk is our favorite resort and the club level can't be beat!!:thumbsup2 My countdown is going too slow!: I am homesick for the Boardwalk right now:sick:

Glad to hear you had a great time. We are taking the dd and ds on a suprise trip for our dd's 9th birthday. We cannot wait to get there.

I remember when I was researching the deluxe rooms at BWI, there is one room that does not have two tvs. Like someone posted, it is due to the roof. Great room, nonetheless. I really enjoyed my stay there too. Glad you had fun!
