Super Soap Weekend

My daughter wants me to take her, and a girlfriend, to WDW for super soap weekend, the second weekend in Nov. Has anyone been there before who can tell me exactly what goes on during this weekend? I don't fancy standing in lines for hours waiting for autographs. Is it really worth the flight out for two days worth of hoping to get a glimpse of a soap opera actor/actress? Thanks for any advice you can give me. I need to make flight reservations soon if i want to get a good fare.

Long lines to see Soap Stars, or you could do what I do, DON'T stand in the long lines, and just go by the area where the stars are, you can still get great photos! You can also see the "Stars and Motorcars" parade which runs about 4 times each day, with various Soap Stars in them, and get Photos also. However, if its going to be for Sat and Sunday only, I would fly out early Friday Morning and leave on Monday, that way you could enjoy other Parks. MGM will be crowded, but the Ride lines will NOT!

The past two trips we've been during Super Soap weekend and while MGM is more crowded, it's not very bad. We found the best place for the parade (even though none of us knew who these people were) was right near the hat. After the parade, the stars walk up on stage and have a little show. We've never stayed to watch it - this is the perfect time to ride the rides!
