Nothing new...except I just got back from my 2 week trip to LA for General Hospital FCW!

Invites will usually go out the beginning of Sept, so we should know shortly after that. I talked to Kelly Monaco and Greg Vaughan about coming and they assured me that if they get invited, they definitely will be there.

Jacob Young (JR, AMC) may not attend if asked (JUST speculation; not fact). His baby is due Nov. 19th.

Glad to hear Greg Vaughan could return. I know he didn't come last year due to wanting to spend time with his newborn. And I can't see Monaco NOT being asked. She's so popular and the fans love her.

And yeah, we should have a good idea mid-late September about who's going to attend or at least who was asked. October should see the list be officially released, but we should know by mid-September, I would imagine.

"A certain two male actors" ... I'm guessing Steve Burton and Maurice Benard? My mother would love it. They should. GH needs all the "star names" they can get to attend, as it's been lacking. Monaco, Wright and Anderson have basically been it for the past few years. I know Thompson, Herbst and McCullough are popular but they don't get nearly the attention (or crowds) the others do.

They are from GH - yes...They will not be Steve Burton and Maurice Benard - sorry Shawn. Maurice isi deathly afraid of flying and will not come out for these events 'cause it's just too much for him. He had some issues during FCW too I think because he wasn't acting himself at all.

And Steve - he just wont attend if there's nothing in it for him. He can't overcharge his fans with outrageous prices and pimp that Monavie crap at SSW. He has spoken out against SSW and how he dislikes it and actually discourages fans from attending - so he'd have to be a hypocrite to attend....but then again, Steve is a hypocrite, so we just might see him there

Maurice's reasons for not attending SSW are definitely more legit than Steve's. Steve's diva mentality kicks into high gear and he'll get pissy when he doesn't get things exactly how he wants them. Let's just put it that way. I don't have very much respect for the man.

As far as attacking him, he was also "attacked" at the fan club luncheon. A set of two girls who were really drunk first went over to Derk and Drew Chetwood and jumped on top of them. The went into the next room and tried it with Steve, who then turned them away and refused to take a picture with them at all. Then, they went over to Greg's table. I was standing right by Greg's table when the chick flew right into Greg - straddling him. It literally threw Greg into the wall and knocked over a fake plant. They were finally escorted out of the luncheon when they tried something with Brandon Barash. My point being, Steve was attacked here too, but he's not going to stop showing up at FCW because they let him pimp that Monavie garbage and run taste tests for the most disgusting juice ever. I just know too much about him to ever like him again.

OMG, I love Rick too...Rick is super popular with the fans...they love him. It's just the age bias that SSW has against people who are over "older". Unfortunately, it's true. It's why Sebastian Roche wasn't invited. Rick won't be invited too for that same reason and neither will Nancy Lee Grahan. They want to focus more on the younger crowed. And I know that Lucci and Slezak go, but of course, they're actually on the committee and get an automatic invite. It's politics, but hey, it is what it is....

Actually, Rick is scheduled to be on the "Rick Springfield and Friends" Cruise. It departs on the 13th and returns on the 17th, so no chance of him being at SSW. Kimberly McCullough (Robin) is also scheduled to be on the cruise.

Hmmm, always seems the stars from AMC are older, though I'm having a mind blank on all the names, but stars such as Michael Knight(hope he is coming again!! ), Thorsten Kaye, and David Canary, even older, Susan, as you mentioned, Cady is in her 40's isn't she?, Bobby Eakes, I guess I'd just be surprised if Rick Hearst didn't get invited because of age. His fan events go so well. He's gotta be 40something also, as Maurice who would get invited if he'd go, I'm sure. I think many fans, not just older ones, would love to see the vets for sure! Especially more so than some stars who go every year but really don't treat their fans nicely or act like they want to be there, not naming anyone, just saying...

Can you tell more about the committee? Haven't heard of that before, don't know much about the behind the scenes of SSW. This will be our third in row this Nov. You seem to be quite knowledgable, and somehow connected to info and stars! Maybe I missed it, but can you tell us why or how?

Greg was in shock. He really didn't react much. I don't know why security waited so long...except that Derk and Drew was in a different room, which was smaller, so no one really knew...Steve stopped that crap from happening....It wasn't until they got to Greg that a commotion was raised and as soon as she attempted it with Brandon, that was it. I love Greg. He's a doll. He gives the bestest hugs ever and when he's talking to you - he looks you right in the eyes and makes you feel like he's really listening to what you say. He's the best. I'll see Greg and Kelly again next month, so maybe i'll get more info from him on what the situation is with SSW.

Yeah...unfortunately, people like Nancy Lee Grahan, Sebastian Roche, Rick Hearst, etc don't get invited. If you notice the older crowds are usually the people on Erika Slezak and Susan Lucci's shows....hmmm, go figure

I love Rick Hearst. His mom makes some really amazing pasta and has some amazing sauce. His family has a catering company, which I'll pimp freely for Rick.
