I' gonna try to go to next years one which will hopefully be around the same dates in Nov otherwise I'm screwed.

Only going for GH as only soap I watch. After these posts I really wanna see Greg Vaughan - The reason why season 2 of Charmed was awesome!!

Greg is absolutely amazing...I'm actually going to see him in a little over a week, so I'll pass that along. But when I talk about the disboards, I'm sure he'll have no idea what the hell I'm talking about.

But that's Greg...gotta love him

I have seen Kim IN ACTION, and its NOT pretty! LOTS of people cannot stand her, and her "attitude" towards her fans.

Yeah. She is very rude to her fans. Naz (Leyla) from NS2 has an issue with fans too.

What's this FCW thing and how can I go and when's it take place??

FCW is Fan Club Weekend. It's a full Weekend (from Thursday to Monday) of events for General Hospital in Los Angeles every July. I just got back about a month ago from it. It's amazing though. Unfortunately, you've missed this one. However, in a few months details for the next FCW will be out (though I don't know where 'cause the Sportsman Lodge is closing it's doors for the last time on Dec 31, 2008).

I have a question re: 09 SSW. I know this is an 08 thread but I thought all u soap fans could help me. I'll be at WDW next year in Nov and am hoping SSW will be on 14th and 15th, but if it is 7th and 8th would I be able to do GH Stuff in one day? On 8th I'm on cruise. Booking hotels so I'm there then, just wanna know if I can do GH in a day?
I hope it'll be 14th and 15th, not changing holiday plans to be able to do though as have nearly everything booked for holiday.
They wouldn't have weekend before thanksgiving would they, or change dates so it's not in Nov?

It really depends on what you plan to do. Each day there are different events. Honestly, everything is always upbeat on the Saturdays and it's busier. but if you want to do GH in one day, you will definitely have to get there early to get a fastpass. You'll only be able to get 1 GHer fastpass because there are just sooo many people. But other than the fastpass, you will get in some game shows, and whatever else they have planned.

The last few years KM fast passes are one of the last to go, I for one would not bother getting one for her, She is a good actress, but she has been acting so long, I think it has just gone to her head.

She just doesn't want to be there....I don't blame her...i don't want her to be there either, lmao. Let the spot go to someone who loves their fans....For all I care, KM, Becky Herbst and Julie Marie Berman can stay home this year and they can invite Megan Ward, Kirsten Storms and Sarah Brown....there ya go...i'm happy

I love Maurice. I love the way that he has handled himself with his illness. I had a few issues with Maurice's event, but none were really his fault...moreso the company he keeps, but that's another topic, LMAO. As much as I love Maurice, I would never go to his event again...and Jim Warren is to blame for that.

As far as Steve, anything further that I want to say about it, it definitely kept for a private conversation or not said at all.

I did listen to a CM near her last yr complaining about one star and when I sort of skirted around who it was and where we were, she confirmed without saying any names. She certainly wasn't treating the CM people very nice. They ought to send stars fans really want to see, regardless of age, and stars that really love being with their fans such as Greg Vaughan and Bradford or Kelly!

Yeah, and the thing about it is, a lot of these cast members are actually friends of mine. So all the bad crap that goes on, I hear about first hand. It's very disrespectful to people who are just doing their job.

Allwell looks like I might try for 2010...There goes Europe again. lol (I have been meaning to go to Europe since 2006 and keep putting off to go to Disney...atleast I have my priorities straight. )

I went to Europe in 2004...It was ok...i much prefer seeing my soapies. You should definitely try for FCW if you are a huge GH fan. It was the best week of my entire life...seriously!

GH is always an emergency. 2010? I don't know. I know Greg's contract is up before 2010...that's all I can say on that front 'cause they don't really like to talk about contracts until it's time to negotiate....

No problem. I do know quite a bit about GH, so whatever you need to ask, feel free. If you come in 2009, you should be good. There are a lot of factors that are contingent on whether or not Greg will resign - as there always is with every actor. I know Rick Hearsts contract is up in about 3 months or so and he's borderline on whether or not he'll resign.

Greg is awesome and if you get the opportunity to meet him, make the most of it...don't be afraid to talk to him or get star struck. He's very friendly and appreciates all his fans.

Nope...your impression of Steve is completely on point. He is completely full of himself. He's a male diva. A complete hypocrite and will throw anyone under the bus to make himself look good. I'm surprised he didn't try to pimp Monavie to you once he found out you were a fan.

No one I know seems to like Kimberly at all. Bradford is a sweetheart. I love him to pieces. Him and Greg are my top two fave males. Tyler is also very nice, as is Sebastian Roche. And of course Rick Hearst. For the females, I love Kelly hands down and of course Laura Wright is amazing, as well as Sarah Brown. She is so down to earth it's not even funny. She's obsessed with David Cook from American Idol and makes youtube videos and fan vids of him. As far as past cast members, hands down my favorite male was Seamus Dever and female was Natalia Livingston.

Kelly was the 2nd soap star we met in 2006 at SSW. My b/f has Cerebral Palsy and is in a wheelchair, she saw us when she was walking to a signing and came right up and chit chatted. She was so sweet. We might be going this year, we want to at least go to her station at SSW and see her up close.

Kelly is phenomenal. She goes completely out of her way for her fans - stays well past the time she is supposed to in order to make sure that everyone has had equal opportunity to talk to her or have them sign anything. She's one of the most giving actors that I have ever met.

Alright, that's good to know. I asked for pic for my daughter not for myself my daughters only 13 she likes him.(don't let her watch though lol) But I as soon as I did I was seconds away from telling him " save it, your not even worth the flash!" I think he could tell by the look on my face I thought he was no better then anyone else & was getting ready to walk he kinda straightened up his attitude quick! (I mean c'mon he's close to my age I'm not hanging on his every word! He's not all that) Tyler Christopher jumped right up for the pic & was a complete gentlemen not arrogant at all.
