JeMarie6--try shredding up the turkey and heating it up with some bbq sauce and have bbq sandwiches
JGoin-- yes you can freeze milk, there's two tricks to it. 1- pour about 1 cup out of it then put the lid on and freeze (it expands when frozen, if you don't pour some out it will bust the container-learned this the hard way) 2- it only lasts around 4 or 5 days once you thaw it out.
To thaw it out put it in the refrigerator and give it a good 12 - 24 hours and then it should be most if not all the way liquid
Also as for the deer meat (which we eat all the time) we have steaks or jerky or stew, stir fry. Anything I would use red meat for. The key to keeping it from being gamey is to marinate it for at least 4 hours, preferably 24 hours. The more acidic the marinades are great.
My mom had that problem when my brothers and I were between 10 and 16 years old. So, she limited us to 1 gallon per kid per week, period. If we drank it all by the middle of the week, that was our problem. Give it a try, see how it goes!
Anyway, I'm in. My freezer is full to bursting, and I just looked at this weeks sales flyers and nothing good was in them anyway.
