Super Picky Kid on Adult DDP, Help LOL

Due to my son's age at the time of travel, 10....Just 10, I wish I had said he would still be 9 but Oh well. He is sooooooooo picky, no sauces, no ketchup, give him plain chicken (no bbq sauce), chicken fingers, pizza, hot dogs, he is fine. So since he is on the adult DDP what can I do? Can he still order from the kids menu if there is nothing on the adult menu he will eat?

Hi, from what I have read on the boards, you can order of off the childs menu for him, but they will make it an "adult" size portion. I also have the same problem!!

we've btdt w/the picky 10+yo on the DDP and had great success... we also were able to get both kids to try things that they would not have tried otherwise... ds now LOVES creme brulee (who'd a thunk?) and they both now eat steak and grilled chicken (whereas before it was burgers and chix fingers/nuggets)... i'd say go for a mix of meals, encourage ds to be adventurous w/one part of the meal (appy, entree, side, or dessert) while always letting him know he won't "starve to death!" (we always reassured ds that a hot dog was only a few feet away at a CS if necessary... it was only necessary once!)... it worked for us and expanded their horizons at home and away!

Oh that would be wonderful, I don't mind an adult sized portion....someone (dh) in our group will finish it if he doesn't!! LOL

I have another question, can we pay OOP for kids meals for him and bank his adult TS credits for other meals? I have more ressies booked than the 5 credits we get with our package, LOL. I just couldn't decide on 5 and well one was a 2 credit meal and you know its Disney, LOL.
