Hi, guys!
We just booked our second WDW trip this morning. Actually, it's the third trip we've booked, but the last trip was cancelled because my husband was laid off and we had to say goodbye to our vacation just about a month before we were set to go. That was back in 2011. After two years of unemployment and then an out-of-state move for a new job, we're finally in a place where we can take a vacation. I feel like I'm going to cry or vomit. Or maybe both.
We're booked for Oct. 29-Nov 4 of this year...so in just a few months! We're staying at CBR in a pirate room, and I'm beginning to stress out over dining reservations. We're doing the free dining plan, so I need to get those ressies made yesterday!
It'll just be me, my husband, and our 13-year-old son. The kiddo is super excited about this. When we gave him the option of Universal Studios or WDW, he chose WDW-and he's a thrill seeker. I guess he needs this re-do as much as I do.
So much has changed since we took our first trip in 2007 and planned our failed trip in 2011. I'm feeling like I'm at a disadvantage because I know nothing about the Magic Bands, Fast Pass+, and all the other upgraded initiatives.
I guess I'm just re-introducing myself and doing my best not to wet my pants from excitement.
