Good early a.m. Super Goofs. Last chance workout day. This is it people, get it done or we are not number one!!!!
I got myself out for a 3.12 mile run yesterday and I did it at 9:58 mpm

woohoo: ). That was with 8 x 10 second hill sprints mixed in since there were 2 really big hills on my run!! I was really pretty happy considering I did the sprint, walk, gasp, gag, cough and repeat 8 times!!!

I really hope I can get my 5K in on the 22nd as I think I may actually be able to finish in under 30 minutes which would be a HUGE PR for me.

If I don't get to go, I have decided that I will do the 5K around the track and check my time. Of course, flat soft track versus semi-hilly 5K course=no comparison but it will boost my confidence all the same.
Since I have been posting with Amybeth68 on another thread she has brought up the "killer" hills of the Applefest. I am really a little concerned. I hope they are not worse than the "killer" hills of Great Bay, otherwise we may have a problem Houston!!! My hammy and Achilles are just barely talking to me again and I have the ToT run 3 weeks after the Applefest!!

Don't worry Joanne, I am not going to bail, I may just have to start doing more hill training!!!
Good news, Escape and Nukeman are back on the roster and they are going to pack us in with some make-up miles. Nice to have them both back with us!!
