Super Goofs Flying into February team thread

Is anyone else able to enter values besides me?

I'm glad to help create this spreadsheet, but have no intention of entering values every day for every teammate...I love you all, but no way can I handle that.

Sorry Mike, I am not able to enter any numbers. I thought it was just me not knowing what I'm doing.

I was able to enter my numbers from Sunday. Mike - do you see them?

Mike...I made an account and was able to enter miles and time...thanks!!

Liz...I am able to see your numbers from Sunday.

Looks like the new process is:

1) Make a google account at :

http://documents.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=47597

2) either request access to the document going by to it, or PM me your email address.

Document link:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pDo_Y1OjfFxhlRUqeH5B_fQ&hl=en

3) Pick the month at the bottom of the document.

4) Scroll down to the correct day of the month.

5) Find your name in ORANGE. Enter the distance in miles.

6) In the column to the right of your name in YELLOW, enter the minutes it took you to do the miles, or if there were no miles (like in Yoga, Pilates, mowing the lawn etc) enter the minutes you moved.

7) Do not modify any cells in BLUE...they are formula driven, and calculate your monthly, team weekly, team monthly and team YTD.

PM or post with any questions.

Worked for me. Thanks Mike. :thumbsup2

Oh, are we rounding the minutes?

I'm still trying to figure out how to format the cells into HH:MM, but each time I change the format, I get a really wacky result.

That's technical talk, I'll have you know. Wacky.

Mike

Looks like it works for me. I assume we are rounding minutes, though we could probably reformat the cells to accept (for example) 53:27 or something.

Got in 4 miles last night, and then did 7 miles of interval running this morning. I'll be updating my miles & minutes later today.

That looks great Suzanne!

Thanks Shan. I was afraid of what it was going to look like but am very happy with it!! They say they can't guarantee which order the pictures will be put in but they are exactly as I ordered them. Doubt I'll order from every race but I see this as a 1/2 marathon tradition.

Shan's right...it looks great!

OK, I THINK I got it for the team YTD total, but not yet for the individual...just keep putting in minutes until further notice.

Would it be helpful if your columns were the same color, either Orange or Yellow? In other words, there would be two orange columns next to two yellow columns, and you wouldn't change color on your entries.

Does that make more sense?

Mike

Ok, I have groovyguy added to the roster.

Suzanne, great pics!!!! I meant to tell you, while Steve & I were in the Race Retreat tent for the half, your 1st pic in the triple print flash up on the big screen at one point. I yelled out "Hey, that's Suzanne!". A few people got a chuckle out of that. I guess everyone who had their picture made at the expo ended up on the big screen. Anyway, I thought that was pretty cool. Also, did you say you have a friend that wants to join the team, if so, can you send me a PM with his/her name and username? Thanks!

Mike, thanks for creating the Excel spreadsheet. I work with Excel quite a bit as well although I have never worked with it on the Internet. I'll get my miles & hours posted soon.

Gah!

No adding people!

I didn't design the spreadsheet to easily do that...not smart, I know, I know..what can I say.

I'll have to figure out how to do that

:(

No good deed goes unpunished!
