Super glue help

Will super glue adhere plastic to fabric? I need a last minute costume and was going to glue the Twister circles onto a t-shirt. But I'm not sure what to use.

You'll want a gel super glue and to put something behind the layer of shirt so it doesn't bleed through. Don't use regular super glue because it's very runny.

Superglue is runny and very hard to control on textiles; seepage is a real issue. (I have seen people glue entire garments to cardboard table liners more often than not.) Superglue is also brittle if it gets cold; it will break adhesion very quickly in cold situations.

The glue that you will want to use is E6000. You can get it at any general big box store such as Target or Walmart, or at any craft or hardware store. If they have the small tubes, buy those; unused glue in larger tubes that have been opened tends to clot up and turn to a rubber-like substance after a couple of months; the small tubes are a better investment if you want to keep some around the house just in case of need. It's tacky-set in about 90 seconds; fully set in around 30 minutes, can be washed after 48 hours.

PS: A hot glue gun is NOT the solution for an article of clothing. Hot glue dries hard and does not bend, and it also goes brittle and cracks off in cold conditions.

Probably not very well, and superglue also has difficulty bonding to some synthetic materials such as polyester. If it were to work, it would require soaking it into the fabric such that it's trapped in there and locks in physically once it's dry.

Hot melt glue might work better.

NotUrsula beat me to it. E6000 glues almost everything to everything. It's also what costumers use to adhere rhinestones to fabrics when they don't sew them or use a bezel (like the Bedazzeler machine.)
