You can also chop up Butterfingers and add some to the Cool Whip and sprinkle the rest on top instead of the Magic Shell. Yummy!

I didn't make it to the store today. If I make this dessert & get it in the freezer by noon, will we be able to eat it tomorrow after dinner? For us, that would be around 8:30pm or later. Thanks again

tarheel, I think 8 hours in the freezer will be fine. It literally takes about 6 minutes to assemble so you should be good to go Let me know how it was.

Thank you for this recipe. I made it for dessert today but changed it a little. I used a smaller pan, 7x11 which took 12 ice cream sandwiches, 8 oz Cool Whip and 8 oz jar of hot fudge sauce which I heated up and added peanut butter to before assembling. I froze it overnight and yummy!!! This is definitely one of our new favorite desserts and so easy. I'm looking forward to using different ingredients to make it even better.
