Thanks Kathy I agree that everyone is happy with the decision to move the date. There has been a lot of talk on Facebook on splitting the groups and I have seen some push back from people that have purchased everything for the current list. So I don't think that is a good idea. I do like the idea of starting a new list for the people who want to join after the PIF date. I have had a few messages on facebook letting me know that shopoholicmom is not going on the cruise If you PM me with your e mail address I will send you the modified list that I have created with Stateroom numbers that I have seen on the facebook page and are not on the disboards. I have had a few people tell me that they can't stand the disboards so they are posting on facebook . anything I can do to help let me know

I couldn't agree more I get the GTY rooms but if you have your stateroom number please send it to Kathy so we can get the ball rolling. I am not a fan of splitting the list since we have already purchased the material for everyone on the list.

A possible solution: The group could be divided into 2 (or 3) groups. Whoever wishes can opt to be members of all groups!

That works for me. I went ahead and ordered my supplies based on current numbers, plus a few extra. I could either participate in all groups or even save some supplies for the next cruise.

Has anyone done either Helmet dives in St. Maarten or St. Thomas? We are currently signed up for the one in St. Thomas. It looked like the better of the two. Thanks

We are doing the helmet dive, but on St Maarten. We wanted to do the full day sail and snorkel on St Thomas so we opted for the helmet dive on St Maarten.

I think this is a good solution. It keeps the numbers down for those who read in earlier posts that the list could be split when we reached 40 cabins, have traveling space issues or budget allotments and also allows for those who have already made their purchases. I have already voted on FB too.

I'm another vote for splitting the FE.

I think this is a good solution. It keeps the numbers down for those who read in earlier posts that the list could be split when we reached 40 cabins, have traveling space issues or budget allotments and also allows for those who have already made their purchases. I have already voted on FB too.

We are in 7572. Count us in for the FE. DD would not be happy with me if we skipped out on it. But I vote to split the groups - my preference is less than 30 staterooms per group. This is the first leg of 3 trips for us (NY and DC) post-cruise so space is a real issue. Oh and moving the cutoff date is fine with me!!

As of 10am on 1/24 the poll on FB is 15 to split, 10 not to split. Most have stated that it should be an option for participant to join both groups if it does split.

I am in favor of closing the list early and splitting into 2 groups. Whether we are on both lists depends on the final numbers and what I think that I can complete over the next couple of months. I am just waiting on the final numbers to make a decision. Thanks!
