Super early easter april 19, 2014 fantasy cruise!

Thanks. Wasn't sure how to figure that out without knowing the airline etc. What time do they let us off the ship if on a non- Disney excursion?

Hi Everyone! Last time we cruised in 2011 on the Dream we tried to organize a meet but it proved difficult during the first day. One thing I wound up doing just for poops and giggles was getting all the adults green mardi gras beads to wear for that day. I figured it would be a good tool to identify one another and introduce as we wanted to. It worked pretty well and people actually put the beads on their bags and wore them on other days too. It was fun to see someone and say hi even if we hadn't met before. Would you all be up for that again? My DD would leave beads at the rooms either in FEs or on door handles if your FEs were not out yet.

If you would rather not receive beads just pm me and I will mark it on my list.

I'm not sure but I believe you can leave once we have docked. It will give us the info on the navigator the night before.

We were not interested in any Disney excursions but seriously considering Bernards. Might do the trip to Maho beach and back? We have never been so it would be something different.

We are definitely going to Maho, just trying to figure out how.

Hi! I have 2 daughters ages 16 and 17 and they loved Vibe when we cruised on the Fantasy last year! I'm sure they would love to meet up and have others their age to hang around with. After all, who wants to hang around with "old" people

Yes, our daughter would rather not hang out with the old folks either.

We are going on the Easter Cruise on April 19th. I will be traveling with my husband and son who is 9 and daughter who is 6. This will be our first cruise and although I belong to many Disney FB groups I'm new to DIS boards. Are FE groups formed here?

Well, 95 days to go and I am over half paid...lol We are so close, the excitement is building and we have such a great group of people getting together for various things!

I have updated the Mixology post (355), if you have shown interest, please make sure I have you on there. Also, please double check to make sure you have sent me all your information. I will PM sometime this week anyone who I am missing either full names or cabin numbers from, but it would be easier if y'all could check to make sure it was sent.

We are up to 29 people!!! Remember the limit is 40. Members 41-50 will be on a waiting list. If we get 50, I will request 2 classes.

Looking forward to an awesome 1st cruise!!!!

We will probably go to Epcot for a short while the one day we are there before the cruise. Flower and Garden Festival will be going on at that time and I love to see the designs.

I am working on getting a private mixology class set up for our cruise. My plan is to request either Monday or Thursday...both sea days. The price quoted to me when I originally contacted them was $15 per person subject to change. (I believe it may be up to $20 by the time we cruise.) If you are interesed in joining, please message me with your screen name, full names and cabin number. I will only post below your screen name and number of spots you are requesting.

**Please note that I will confirm with you just prior to submitting the document to DCL. Once it is submitted, your stateroom will be charged if you make it to the class or not. Their rules, not mine.

Also, does anyone have a favorite bartender that they would like me to request. I have heard a lot of great things about Damien. Any ideas on this or should I leave it to fate...lol

It is a 25 person minimum/40 person maximum. Basically, if we get more than 40, we will have to get to 50 if we want to split the class.

Travelers are Gailyn (me), Greg (DH), DD Nicole (16) and DS Matt (15). It will be our 6th Disney cruise but first on the Fantasy!!

We are doing the Doubloon Sail & Snorkel in St. Thomas, not sure about St. Maarten, but are thinking about the Golden Eagle Catamaran or doing something through Bernards.

I love the idea of the green beads

We will set up so my DD16 will be passing them out when we board to all the over 18 crowd So looking forward to this weekend to check in and book some things. Need to negotiate with our DD16 to see if we can get 2 babysitting days out of her. Especially DH's B-day on the 22nd and for the Mixology meetup. Fingers crossed we will be successful without to much eye rolling. Babysitting for 2 nights should work.

another thanks for the beads. we have a great group!!! what a wonderful easter cruise this will be!

and that cold weather in IL will soon be here in central NY. we will be cold this weekend and then VERY VERY cold next week.

I will get a break next month from this winter and visit my best friend and her fam in San Diego. DH will get his break in March when he has a conference in Miami.

And then in April we all get to go to Florida for our cruise- yea!!

I would like to add another family to the Fish Extender list. They are the Reed family in stateroom #8643. The parents are John and Andrea. The children are Joey - 8 and Lily - 5. I helped them purchase their Fish Extender last night as we had our Cruise planning party to discuss excursions, spa treatments and dining options. I would also like to double check that my stateroom is already on the FE list as well, as it was months ago that I posted to be added. We are in Stateroom #6008, with Brian, Tracy, Nick - 15 and Zack - 12. Also, if someone could post when the final lists will be post, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks So much.
