We're taking a red eye from LAX and arrive into MCO at 6:30am

Anyone know what my chances will be of getting the room early at RPR ?? We arrive on May 3rd 2025
I know I could book an extra night so it's ready for our arrival but it's really expensive and I don't feel like getting a room elsewhere for just 1 night, it's such a hassle.

Last time I checked in that early to get express passes the room was not ready. Got text msg room was ready at 2pm. I think it all depends on how busy the night before.

Near zero. I don't think I ever got a room before 2p. I frequently check in by 9a. I'm not sure they release any rooms that early, even if available.

Maybe the Universal hotels will join other hotels and charge a fee for early check in.

Plan on going to a park. Movie in citywalk.

Can't sleep on the plane. Too tired to do anything.
Book a room. Hyatt in the airport sometimes offer day rates.

Edited to add Afternoon thunderstorms could arrive before your room is available

I got a room (standard room at Dockside) at 10:15am last weekend, so fairly early can happen. The front desk person seemed surprised it was ready; I think we got pretty lucky. Bigger hotel with more common room category will have the best chance.

Trying to find my text from 2023 on when the RP room was ready, but this past October, 2024, we'd checked in around 8AM, got the room ready text about 1:15PM. I did text a few times w the contact number they gave, to see if a room was ready yet.....not sure if that helps/hurts/makes no difference. Portofino was also ready in the 1 o'clock hour. SF, 2 o'clock

finally found text/photo from June, 2023. RP room was ready at 8:14 AM when we checked in. Was a Tues morning, transferring over from Aventura.
you just never know.
I do always do the online checkin, the day before.
hopefully it wont' be too late in the day for y'all. Have a great trip!!

No harm in asking, but as others have said, it highly depends on if they were full the night before. You are checking in on a Saturday which makes your odds a little lower.

I fly redeye from LAX frequently and the earliest I've ever gotten was 9am at PBH and I told them I would take anything. We received the 2nd to last room at the end of a VERY long hallway 😂.

Usually, its late afternoon at the earliest.

I've occasionally gotten a room at CB early (like 11 AM?) but mostly not that early. I always take the first flight out in the morning and arrive early.
