If we book an MK/EP/AK/HS dessert party (when they eventually come back as they undeniably will) do you think that will allow us entry to a park we don't have a regular day reservation to. (Know we can't do this now but just wondering what the prevailing thought is about this.)

This would only work with park hopper tickets, but yes, I don’t see why they wouldn’t allow, based on a hopper ticket.

The dessert party reservation will not ave any impact on your ability to or not to enter the park.

Our boo bash tix don’t require park reservations so I’m going with no, you won’t need them.
ETA: totally changed my mind. You need a park reservation and ticket in addition to the party ticket.

A Boo Bash ticket is a park-specific hard ticket only valid in MK. A dessert party reservation is essentially a dining reservation. Under the current system, OP would either need a reservation in the park where they are attending the dessert party or a park hopper ticket. A dessert party is not a park ticket.

You will not need a park reservation for the park the party is in.

You will need a park reservation for “a” park that day, and a park hopper ticket or AP, if the party is in a different park from the party.

It would be the same as a dining reservation. You can hop to a park to use a dining reservation.

No, the dining or dessert party reservation would not guarantee you entrance to the park, if by some reason hopping was not allowed that day. But since hopping has been available at every park, every day since it restarted, and capacity is only increasing, I do not anticipate it ever being a problem. The only days I would be sure to book the party in the same park I had a reservation for would be between Christmas and New Years, and that has to do with total park capacity, not hopping.

Not unless you have a park hopper ticket or annual pass. Even then, you will need to have a park reservation somewhere and actually visit that park before hopping over to the one where you have your dessert party ticket.

Dessert parties are considered to be ADRs and the same rules apply as they do if you were to have a prepaid dinner at CRT. "Valid admission". Note that they don't say "valid park ticket". That's because you need both the ticket and the ability to hop.

You will have to have a park reservation or a park hopper ticket, but hopping is not a guarantee- although not something I'd worry about unless it's Christmas Day. Just the reservation will not get you in.
