I agree with several of the recomendations here, but what I have found works best is changing the soap we use. DD gets horribly dry hands in the winter time. We now only use Cetaphil soap in our bathrooms from Oct thru May. It is a facial soap in a pump dispenser and it has made a HUGE difference. We also use the Mustela baby lip balm on the backs of her hands and that helps too. The Mustella baby lotion is good too but it makes her hands itchy--works good on the rest of her and my boys though. (She is 9 by the way, not baby age.) For myself, I really like the Vaseline one already mentioned. I have tried Eucerin and agree that I cannot stand the greasy feeling.
