Just watching Tom Petty at half time, he's pretty good. Close game so far 7-3 to the cheaters, but Giants look capable of doing it.

I managed to stay awake until half-time and then watch the first three of Tom Petty's songs. Then, I fell asleep.

I also watched til half time then went to bed. Thought patriots would have won but not bothered either way, nice to see 2 brits get the winners rings. Highlight for me this year is the fact that at last, after feeling like a freaky girl for loving american football for 20 years, and not really knowing anyone else who understood it, my DS is getting into it!! YEAH!!!! He's been asking about the rules and teams over the past few weeks, and was keen to see the superbowl. He's also just got madden 08 for his ds, so is learning fast!

By the way, I started as a Dolphins fan, then went to the Raiders for a while, but since we've visited florida are back on the Dolphins again, both kids have 54 Zac Thomas shirts (DS is called Thomas!)

Wow I had no idea the Super Bowl was watched all over the world, do you all get the same silly commercials that we do? I have to say I am not a big football fan and I really didn't watch but my dh is a huge fan and he always gets together with friends to watch. We live in the Chicago area so we are Bears fans but I was hoping the Patriots would have won since the other Manning brother kicked our butts last year!

Sadly we only get our regular UK commercials, in fact not really very good ones, as it is the middle of the night.

Apparently it was watched by 97.5 million people worldwide (according to this morning's news). A friend from Tulsa has just sent me a link to all of the ads you get in the US, so shall be watching them today.
