Super Bowl Pre-Game

Does anyone watch all four hours of the pre-game hype? As much as I enjoy footbrawl, I just don't see the need for four hours of whipping the fans into a pre-game frenzy.

When I watched the latest episode of "This Is Us" Rebecca anxiously tells Jack that the pre-game show is starting, like it's important to not miss a single minute?

I'll probably watch some of the pre-game show. If the Eagles weren't playing, I would only watch the game and commercials.

We normally don't, but especially this year, as my younger son has a basketball game at 5pm on Sunday. Whomever scheduled that obviously wasn't looking ahead at a calendar.

Most likely very little. I am so tired of the news spending so much time on pre-game stuff for the last two weeks.

It's usually on when I go to my friends house for his SB Party, but nobody really pays any attention to it. Heck they barely pay attention to the game over there!

Other, because I do watch if it's my team involved. Otherwise, it's just on as background noise until the game.

We watch some. It's on the TV and kind of background noise. Now that the Eagles are playing I'm sure my son will watch every single minute of it. I'll watch but not as much as him since I'll be cooking some snacks.

Loved to play football as a kid, but the NFL isn't the style of football I like to play or watch.
Commercials pay my salary, so kind of jaded on that side of things. And on wrong network, so not making a penny off those ads.

None. DH is dragging me to a SB party, but I have no interest in the game itself. If it wouldn't be offensive to the football fans, I'd be tempted to bring a good book!

I watch all the pregame hoopla if I care about the outcome of the game. If I have no preference about who wins, I might only watch the hour before the game or perhaps none of it.

I watch the game just to say I did. We don’t get the commercials so I don’t even have that to look forward to. Honestly, 99% of the time I’m watching for the halftime show.

Bring the book! I am one of the few at the SB party I go to every year who actually watches the game. Most people are in it for the food and chatting. I certainly wouldn't be offended if someone chose to read.
