Super Bowl Parade Monday Feb 3rd

We were in the Backstage Magic tour last Monday post-SuperBowl. Tour Guides advised we would be skipping the above-ground tour in MK due to crowds. Saw Main Street as we came up from the utiladors in the backstage area, around 2:50 - 10 mins before parade began. Not an inch - not one inch - of space - happy humanity everywhere! (We did see Michael Strahan as he went past our tour group though, on route to interview MVP Edelman and Brady!)
So - I would concur with our tour guides that MK is very, very busy for the parade!

We were there for superbowl 2018. We wanted to see the MVP parade, but spent the day in Epcot enjoying low crowds and park hopped to MK via the monorail for the parade. We got there about an hour and a half before the parade, got some snacks and set up over by city hall (guest relations). We were out of the shoulder to shoulder crowds as there was just a few people there with us. We had a great view and got great pictures as he was pretty close as he went around the bend. And then we were close to the gates to head out quickly as soon as the parade was over.

Just confirming....
Is the parade route only from the hub area to the front of the park?
My daughter and son in law arrive today and are planning on watching the parade on Monday.
Thanks!

When I went to the Nick Foles parade two years ago, it was delayed by 30-45 minutes from the "scheduled" time. I assume it was due to travel delays so the "just prior to the 3PM" parade may actually be just prior to the afternoon parade, whenever we get everyone there.

This is what I'm wondering about. From a report on last year's experience, the parade did not follow the normal parade route but was only described as a "mini parade" going from the HUB area down Main St. to the firehouse.
Super Bowl Parade thread
Around 12:30 - 1 they did some media interviews at MK on a stage set up on the side of the hub near the Plaza. At around 2:30, they rode in the mini parade. They were on a float from the afternoon parade with Mickey, Minnie & a few other characters. Just that 1 float with a few cheerleader type performers marching with them. The hub & Main Street were packed.... we lined up a little over an hour before the parade & found a single spot which was one of the last curbside spots. I stood in front, DH behind me.
The parade moved at a good clip & did not stop. It only goes from the hub to the parade exit at the firehouse.
My daughter and son in law are there now and I told them to look for the stage are and to try to line up on Main St. I wasn't sure, and can't find any other information, if the parade this year will follow the same route as last year.

Robo's map is correct. I was there last year and watched it from in front of the Liberty Tree Tavern. I guess it could be called a mini parade because there was only the single float surrounded by cheerleaders.

I’ve been asking several different cast members & all are telling me it follows the same route as the 3:00 parade. Lots of people scoping out spots all up & down Main Street and around the street in front of Tony’s already.

Wow. Even though I knew about the parade and the Super Bowl, I’m really kind of shocked at the crowd levels just for the parade. And not just on Main Street. It was crowded everywhere today. Is that normal?
