Super Bowl parade February 4th

Thanks. We’re going to be at DW, hoping to see the parade, even tho I really don’t want the Pats to win. Did it mention what time the parades would happen?
The time can vary. I believe last year it was late. They usually do it in the first half of the day and then a round of interviews with media and such.

OK OK for all of you with short memories. I had season tickets back when we won 3 games. In a season. I lived through the era when beating Buffalo was a big deal. My Dad lived his ENTIRE life without seeing a Red Sox World Series win (well he was 2 when they won in 1918). He never saw the Patriots win a Super Bowl, although he did live through the embarrassment against Chicago. So really, it will end. But for now, I'm enjoying every minute, for my Dad and me. Go Pats. Do your job.

Any idea how badly this will impact crowds? My family is planning to be in MK on Monday and is uninterested in the parade. I don’t want to abandon our FPs and BOG reservation but will if it is going to be wall to wall people. Thanks!

Sincerely,
A Browns Fan

Aside from Main Street it won't impact the park

Amen

I hate to see the Pats go to another super bowl simply because their division is so terrible they get a free ride every year that it's just turned into a joke. But being a Saints fan, the Rams don't deserve to be in the SB

So here's to hoping the Pats crush the Rams by 30+ points
Drew Brees is my 2nd favorite QB, I hope he gets another shot at a championship before he retires.

I had posted this on the news thread, but this is a better spot:

If the Rams win they will have the parade at Disneyland (makes sense for an LA team). I’m actually pretty psyched because I leave for WDW on Tuesday and was worried I would miss the Disney parade with the Rams. But if we win, I will just go to Disneyland on Monday!

Now, anyone know how to explain to my boss: “I know I’m taking a 2-week vacation to Orlando starting Tuesday, but I’m also going to ditch work on Monday to go to Disneyland...”! Maybe I’ll just bring my laptop to the park and stake out a spot along the route while getting some work done!

Oh and, just in case, I spent almost an hour yesterday rewatching all the previous DisneyLAND Super Bowl processionals (Edelmann for 49, Peyton for 50) to get a better idea of where to view it! I think the best place would be somewhere along Main Street because that’s where they do the confetti. No need to bother trying to time a castle photo since it’s currently covered in a big brown tarp. And I wouldn’t mind just watching at the start and following along behind, but I wouldn’t know if it would start at Town Square or Small World!

The reason the link keeps getting taken down is that the person posting them originally doesn't have firm info. We won't actually know who, what park, what date and what time until after the game and the details are worked out with the selected player.

Very little impact. People typically don't make a special trip to the MK just for this except for a few locals (ahem).

We saw the parade when the NY Giants won! Our home team. It was around 12:30 scheduled but I think it started a bit late. Maybe 1 or 1:15 wen they came by us, we were in the Hub area near Tomorrowland. It was very short and sweet but they had the characters dressed up like cheerleaders and football players too.
