Super Bowl parade February 4th

So did anyone else notice, in the mosh pit of interviewers around Brady (seriously, that looked a touch dangerous a couple of times)...that there was a guy holding what I think was a cue card that said “I’m going to Walt Disney World?!?” IDK if he was supposed to be filming that shot or what, but he never got a turn before the trophy got presented. He was clutching it in one fiat and waving it around, but he was just getting mauled by the mob. It was pretty funny. Did they ever show Brady saying it??
That guy was STRUGGLING to get to him. I was cracking up watching it. Poor dude.

And yep!

I hope his little girl gets to go. She was just adorable and clearly having a ball. I know she’d love to hug football Mickey :)
His daughter is not there with him.

I noticed that as well. That really was poorly organized for the press. The poor CBS woman who is guaranteed the first interview with Tom couldn't even get a word in for a while. You could hear her saying "He's with me" and such. She looked so short in that sea of people. I saw the WDW sign too so I knew they were trying to get him to say that. I'm surprised they don't just pre-tape those things, then use the winner.

Is Tom Brady just there for the parade, or is he staying overnight? Because when we saw the parade, first thing I wondered is "What hotel do you think Brady's staying at?" You might think GF, because it has the reputation as being THE top hotel at WDW, but I know every celebrity (or whatever you call Brady) has his favorite.

The journalists swarming Brady after the game were beyond ridiculous. He was trying to have a moment to celebrate with the people on the field and he couldn’t even move. The field should be off limits to everyone but players/coaches/team personnel for say 15 minutes after the game.

And I don’t think they are spending the night. BIG parade in Boston tomorrow.

It was absolutely packed, but with a high temp of only 75 degrees, I didn't think it was hot. It was just right.

We arrived around noon and Main St. USA was already lined with lots of Pat's fans. I was surprised that so many people were sitting and standing on the curbs. It's gonna be three hours before Tom & Julian would ride by.

I wasn't concerned about finding a good spot because my former department was involved in the event so I had admission into the media area located where the float was going to stop. Tom & Julian would be addressing the thousands of fans from there. But I declined anyway because I wanted to be with the fans. I made the right choice, it was a lot of fun.

After Brady and Edelman addressed the crowd and the float resumed on it's way to Town Sq, it was followed by a sea of people wearing Pat's shirts & caps. Where the heck did all these fans come from? It was very impressive. What a sight and what a day.

I thought the same thing about the poor interviewer! And when other people were shouting their questions at Brady before she got the first interview, I was thinking that there might be a sternly worded message from the CBS team to the NFL. I'm guessing there will be some stronger rules in place next year for photographers trying to capture the first moment of celebration.

If Disney didn't get its contractually guaranteed theme park shoutout, there were probably some phone calls or emails about that too!

People were staking out spots on main street as early as 10:30! I found a good spot curbside near the end of the parade route (near the Emporium) around 11:30. Lots of Patriots fans around and everyone was having a great time. The weather was just right, not too cold or too hot, and the sun came out just before the parade started. It was worth the wait! Well, I'm a New Englander and a Patriots fan, so there's that!:jumping3:

The Patriots, though reviled by many because of their success, are also hugely popular. Tom Brady in particular is probably the most beloved icon in Boston sports history.
