I tried to use mapquest to figure out which one is closer walking distance from DL entrance and couldn't figure it out?

Which is closer?

415 W Katella Avenue - Harbor Blvd and Katella Ave

915 S. Disneyland Drive - I-5 Exit Ball Road

Okay, I looked up where the disneyland drive one is and it's not that close, or at least not that easy to get to DLR from if you're planning on walking. The one on Katella is closer/more convenient because that's the same side as the entrance to DLR. If you go the other way you would have to find your way through the parking garage area which can be tricky by foot. But if you plan on parking in the M&F lot and not walking to DLR then the one on disneyland drive would be better because it looks like you would have a straight shot into the parking garage. Hope that made sense.

Katella's a much easier walk, regardless of distance. The other side of the park isn't really pedestrian-friendly. It's set up for people entering through the parking structure and DTD parking. If you're walking from the Katella Super8, you just hang a right on Harbor then cross the street at the entrance. Easy as can be.

I've stayed at the one on Katella about 3 times, the walk isn't bad.

We just stayed at the one on Disneyland Dr. in July. I walked back once with 2 other people in my group (a 62 year old and an 18 year old), and it was about a 15 minute walk. No biggie, as long as you won't have small children with you. Not sure I would want to do the walk in the dark, though (just for safety reasons? seems like parts of it could be a little too dark at night), but the path is not tricky.
