There have been a few threads recently about this resort, as it was undergoing a refurbishment of their themed main pool area. So I thought some of you may be interested to see how it's turned out. It's been re-opened. I think it looks very nice - we just may have to stay there soon! ;)

The replacement of the slide tube at the volcano pool is scheduled for mid-June, with an upgrade to a triple tube. Don't know any more. Enjoy the pictures! :)

looks great, i just have a question, have you ever stayed in one of the 3 bedroom grand villas before ? we have ressies and i was just curious as to whether they are very nice thanks in advance, misty also if you have any pics that you have taken i would love to see them.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Very nice looking isn't it?:) We'll be staying there next March 22 and can't wait!;)

Luvindisneyworld.....my cousins from Scotland are owners at Cypress Pointe and we are so fortunate to be invited every year to stay with them, and have done so for the past 7 years. They own a 2 bedroom at the Grande Villas, which is the newer part of the resort. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay!

Here's the web site for some pictures.....http://www.sunterra.com/resorts/regions/resort.asp?resort_code=CPR&region=florida

Just click on "Virtual resort tour" on the left of the page and take a look!:)

Have fun! :sunny:

Thanks for the pool pics! I would stay at this resort again, but first I have to try a house at wyndham palms!

We stayed in a 3 BR in 2000. It was great for our family of 6! 2 single adults, 2 tweens & a couple. The kids shared the room with the twin beds, MIL & SIL shared the king bed master BR, & DH & I had the 3rd BR. That worked well because the 3rd BR is like a suite, with its own couch & kitchenette. We could close the door between the two rooms when the kids were fighting! It was nice to have 3 TVs & 3 bathrooms also.

It looked exactly like the virtual tour. A friend stayed there & CBR on the same trip & she felt that the disney hotels had higher quality furnishings & nicer sheets. I suppose this is true, but we were very pleased with sunterra. The location was great, and you can't beat the space or price of a condo!
