Do the kids have the same dessert options as the adults do at Sunshine Seasons or are they limited to certain desserts? If you are on the dining plan, are you allowed any dessert?
On the dining plan you are absolutely allowed a dessert. The CS credit includes an entree and a dessert.
I don't know about the kids but when I have been there it looks to me like everybody got the same desserts. I don't have kids so I don't have firsthand experience about what kids can order there.
I don't have kids but I seem to recall that you could have any dessert you wanted. Since it's sort of "cafeteria style" and you can just grab what you want, I don't think it's a problem. I seem to remember a family next to us where everyone had the same desserts..cake and pie if I recall correctly

From our experience, ANY dessert is included for both adults and kids on the DDP. They have some pretty interesting stuff, too, like an orange-infused creme brulee (in honor of Soarin's California citrus connection, I think---or maybe Florida's) and worms and dirt for the kids.
Try the spicy noodle soup thingy from the Asian station...mmmmmm
