Sunshine Rewards???

I read lots of posts about Sunshine Rewards. What exactly is that? Does it work or is it a scam?

It's an online rewards program that pays its members to take surveys, sign up for trial memberships in other programs, read emails and make their online purchases thru the website's shopping portal. It has a reputation for being a legitimate program.

I just started a little over a month ago and have just done some surveys so far and made over $30.

I have found that the fastest was to earn is to use their links when shopping online to earn cash back. This will build up your account fast. Tons of major retailers are available to shop.

I plan on cashing out for Disney gift cards.

I know it is not alot but I have earned 40.00 worth of disney dollars this year from them.

I have used Sunshine rewards for 2 years now and "cashed out" with them twice. Both times I got Disney dollars. I've never had a problem with them EVER. It does take some time though to get the gift card in the mail once you've cashed out, so plan accordingly. Over all I've gotten $275! Anything helps when it comes to Disney!

Once you sign up, you can do surveys (or not if you choose not to), you can do 'paid to click' e-mails, and my biggest money maker there is to shop through their listed stores. They have stores listed on their site telling what % or dollar amount you get to shop through them from sunshine. It really helps! I'm kind of triple-dipping off of these shopping deals...and I love it!

#1...most of the stores there offer a coupon code/discount deal so I save from stores I buy at anyways
#2...I get money on my sunshine account to use towards Disney Dollars
#3...when I purchase something from the store, I use my Disney rewards credit card!

Can't get better than that!

I've been with them pretty much since they started in 2006 and have earned $1500. It probably would have been more, but for the first year I didn't really "get" it.

I've never purchased anything I would not have gone out to a store to buy anyway (I don't do the free trial stuff, like freecreditreports, etc). Daily surveys, freebies and cashback shopping, and a few clubs like Columbia House DVD.

It has gone towards my last wdw trip and some towards my next one, and also a few Home Depot gift cards that I used to paint all my rooms and get new window treatments. After next wdw trip I'll be saving them towards Home Depot again for a new fridge.

I highly recommend joining their forum and reading the stickies. There are certain things you should do, like cookie settings on your computer, making sure you use the same email address for daily surveys, etc. Sounds daunting, but once you get the swing of it, just becomes a normal part of the day. I have my coffee, try for some surveys, if there aren't any I try back later in the day instead of watching tv, or listening to it in the background!

I have been a member for what seems like forever. I have made over 1800 and have cashed out for both paypal and disney gift cards. It is a family run company and well thought out. I dont shop through anyone else. Ask anyone for a referral.

I've been with them a few years, and have cashed out for over $800 in Disney gift cards.

It is easy to earn money on the site, and the forum is full of helpful, friendly people. The owner of the site also posts alot in the forum and always offering tips about how to earn more money.

I've cashed out multiple times... I like the $100 Disney card size... so I cash out every time I reach $100... The only downside is that it does take 6 weeks to get the Disney card after cashout... and it is so hard to wait that long after the excitement of cashing out... but I've gotten every penny I've earned there (and more... from winning forum contests)

Sunshine is great. Their customer services can't be beat.

I also recommend you check out their forum since people will post great advice and there are fun contests to enter.

There are many options for cashing out, although most of us probably cash out for Disney gift cards. I know there are some people who've cashed out for other gift cards and managed to pay for Christmas that way.

I have made $100+ on Sunshine Rewards...chump change compared to most people, but every little bit helps. I like it for several reasons, but the number one reason is that I can see almost immediately how much I'm getting paid. If you make a purchase, the amount will be posted in your account within a couple days (usually pending, with the date it will officially be in the account).

I agree that SR is great. Most of these type of programs have the same offerings, but SR offers great customer service. I have made over $900 since I joined and I cash out for Disney GC - but there are many options for other interests.. (but why are you here if you want something else???)

How long does it take to cash out with paypal? Is 4 weeks before the trip enough time?

I have been a member for a year and have cashed out for $250. The first few months I didn't really get it, but once you read the forums you should get the hang of it in no time! Super customer service and the folks on the forums are just as nice there as they are here! You will see alot of the same people on both forums!

hi lori! If you didn't get the answer to your paypal cashout question, I would recommend you cash out much sooner than 4 weeks! Tricia spells it out on the cashout page just how long it may take to recieve the funds. I would check it and make sure you have time enough before your trip. I believe it is about 6 weeks.

I've never cashed out through Paypal (I almost always do Disney Gift cards), but I think it goes into your account on the last day of the month AFTER you cash out. So if you cash out October 1 or October 31, you get paid November 30. So just plan accordingly for when you need it.

I've made over $1200 in two years, mainly doing surveys and shopping I would have done anyway.
