Forgive me...I know a lot has been posted about SR, however, I couldn't find the answer to this...

How much do you need to "earn" to qualify for the Disney gift cards?

I haven't signed up yet, and if I have to earn tons and tons, then it may not be worth it!

I couldn't find where you could look for rewards before signing up on their site.

They also offer disney dollars too. Those come in denominations of $20 or $30 (but they each have a surcharge of $0.25, so a $20 dd will cost $20.25 and $30 dd will cost $30.25). The disney gift cards come in $25 or $100. No surcharges, so straight $25 and $100.

I just started/joined last month, May9th and have already earned $41.60 as of today. I'm kicking myself for not doing this earlier.

How long does it take to get your rewards after you request/cash them? We fly out Aug 24th and was wondering when I should cash out and still be able to receive them in the mail.

I have been a member of SR for a few years but took a break (for personal reasons) last year. I recently have gotten back into it. Since the begining of April I have earned almost $150. Virtually all of that is from doing the "free" stuff - doing the daily survey & OTX surveys, the other surveys, signups for information, etc. When I am going to shop online I always check to see if the merchant is a SR merchant first. For instance, DS wanted a subscription to Mad Kids. He wanted to send in the card but I checked SR first. Here they have a merchant that has it for a cheaper price and I received 15% of my purchase back There is a great product search tool over there in the shopping section where you can just type in what you are looking for and it comes back with which merchants carry the item, how much it is and how much the payback is with that merchant! Great way to find what you are looking for for the best price!!

There are lots of us around here so don't be afraid to ask questions. There are also great forums over there as well.

I try and do both daily surveys each day, that's $0.80 for greenfield and $0.75 for OTX. Some days i don't qualify for any surveys so i also do the offers from the free stuff section. Some have $1 or more payouts and some are as little as $0.20. There is a shopping link too, but i have yet to purchase anything. I use the forums - mainly "offers and contests" - and then the thread "automatic credits for me today" to see which offers are paying out and then i do those offers. Good luck. I'm hoping to earn $80 by the end of July.

You can do both the daily (greenfield) survey and the OTX survey immediately. You can do each once every 24 hours. So if you finished todays at 2pm you could not do the next ones until 2:01pm tomorrow. There is a survey button on the menu which is at the top of every page where you can find these two offers

You select what type of cashout each time you cash out. I mostly get Disney gc/dollars but I have also received paypal. There are lots of great cashout options. They will sometimes run specials where you can get your cashout for a reduced cost ($100 Disney gc for only $96)

I know it may seem intimidating for a new person but it really is an easy, fun and great way to make more money for Disney (or whatever else in life you may need it for.) Since I have been a member, I have earned over $1,500 for our Disney trips!

I'm not too sure and am by no means an expert on sunshine rewards. I don't usually do the surveys emailed to me. I click on the link "earn daily" and then click on "daily opinion survey". That's the $0.80 survey. To get to the $0.75 survey, click on "survey" and then "OTX daily survey".

I'm still within my 45 day no-cashout grace period so I have yet to cash out anything. I'm assuming for disney dollar/giftcards you just go to the reward section, choose your reward (disney dollar/gftcard) and click redeem.

Tricia processes Disney gift cards about twice a month, depending on volume. So you should allow 3-4 weeks in case you cash out just after she has done a batch. Cindy does the other gift cards, so if you cash out for something else it would come from her and probably take about the same amount of time.

I think Paypal is done once per month, but I'm not sure about that. I always save up for Disney gift cards!

We have a substantial amount of Disney Reward Dollars that we'll be putting as payment for our Key to the World card for our next trip. Will both of those SR cards be accepted at our hotel the same way, or just the gift cards? I hope that makes sense...

The Daily Surveys credit the next day (usually by 12:30 pm) except on weekends when they credit on Monday.

Not sure about the OTX surveys, I thought they posted within a couple of hours. You can check out the SR forums to see. (and there is a credit for signing up with the forum!)

We have a substantial amount of Disney Reward Dollars that we'll be putting as payment for our Key to the World card for our next trip. Will both of those SR cards be accepted at our hotel the same way, or just the gift cards? I hope that makes sense...

Disney dollars are paper in various denominations like regular dollars. You can use them all over the parks. Many people like them to give to kids as "allowance"
Disney gift cards are like regular gift cards and easier to use if you are making larger purchases or doing online payments for stuff from Disney Shopping or paying for your package. Not sure if they will put that on your KTTW card but both are easy to use in the parks.

Daily Surveys credit the following day, usually at 9:30 or 12:30 Eastern time. Daily surveys taken on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will credit on Monday, unless Monday is a holiday, then they credit on Tuesday. Daily surveys are tracked by user ID. I think I have only had one or two Daily Surveys not credit in over a year on SR, and occasionally I get two credits, so it could be one of the old ones credited later.

OTX surveys are tracked by cookies and generally credit at the top of the hour after you finish them. If you finish close to the top of the hour, they might credit on the next. If you complete the survey but do not get credit, your computer might not be set to accept third party and session cookies. You need to clear cookies (Tools, Internet Options, Delete cookies on Internet Explorer) each day before you try to do an OTX survey because it will not credit if the cookie is still there from the last credit. Don't clear until you see your credit in your account, so most people clear cookies the first time they log in each day. OTX surveys almost always credit for me IF I have remembered to clear cookies first.

Just popping in to add my two cents. Sunshine Rewards (SR) is a great site. I'm going to use it exclusively to save for my Disney vacations. I've been a member since mid-April and currently have $150 in earnings (yes that's One Hundred Fifty, not One Dollar and 50¢). Most of that is from the Daily/OTX surveys and signups as this is not my busy shopping season.

They are a great bunch of folks over there and I would encourage everyone to sign up.

VERY legit site! I was able to get $600 for our last WDW vacation through Sunshine Rewards. Most of that was earned with the daily surveys, paid sign ups and some online shopping. It really adds up! I'm already up to $150 savings for our October trip!
