Sunshine Challenge - Week NINE weigh in!!

Hey ladies! Went to WDW and had a nice time. Managed to make pretty good choices and not totally over indulge....but it is WDW and the food is good!
I only lost .5 this week, but that is better than gaining I guess! That brings me to -13.5 on this challenge. I am hoping that I can get in the groove with working out...So far I have worked out Monday and Tuesday and plan to do it today with dh when he gets home from work.

wow Kamy you are doing great!! i can't make it to my class today to WI but i will tomorrow. i'm not expecting much change though, but this challenge has helped me stay aware of portion sizes and i'm feeling satisfied with less again! whew!
 
Kamy - I'm so impressed that you lost .5 at Disney - You rock! :banana: I say the word Disney and I gain 12 pounds, lol!

I lost 2.2 this week! I'm happy that its moving in the right direction and I'm seeing numbers in the 140's again - Thank goodness it's about time. I'm still hopefully that I can get sort of close to 140/141 by the time I go to Vegas 6/30. We go to Niagara Falls this weekend. We are planning to walk tons and ride bikes. I will eat good, but low points. I can do it. It would be nice to lose next week even after going on this trip!!!


Molli - Even though your not losing, at least your keeping your portions in control. That's harder than dieting sometimes! The maintenance thing is tough!
 
Wow, Kamy, going to WDW and coming back with a loss, that is impressive!! What a commitment you are making to yourself!

Congrats to you Melanie on a great loss for the week!!

And Molli, what more can we ask for then to continue to make good choices, because making good choices will get us where we want to be.

As for me I am still maintaining so I can't complain. Keep up the great work one and all!!!
 

Thanks everyone! I am really trying.....but with only 3mths till cruise time and summer FULL of plans that involve going OFF Nutrisystem, I am trying to stay positive.....

Molli-Iam glad this challenge is helping you...and I am glad you are here!:hug:

Mel- I know you can do it....and congrats on the 140's...I wish!! LOL! I am still trying to get into the 150's for the first time in 2 years....and have fun in Niagara Falls...its awesome

Tig- maintaining is the key! Good job

Hey all- Just checking in.

We leave tomorrow so I wanted to say hi before we left. I should have internet at the hotel, so I should be able to check in while we are there.

Scale is still moving so that is good. I've been good all week so that is good because I'm sure no matter what I'll eat a few extra points since we are eating out for 4 days.

I was up .6 this week for 5.4 total loss for the 9 weeks. I'm going away tuesday, so that will be my last weighin, and I'm sure I'll gain (hopefully only) a little bit while on vacation. I've been trying to step up my exercise this week, but have not been tracking my food, so I've been over points.

Congratulations to everyone here. You have been a big inspiration for me.

Kamy-thanks for hosting and updating this challenge, and congratulations to you for losing weight in WDW!!!!!!:banana: that's amazing!!

Hey everyone - well at least everyone who is "at home" this week - seems like there are a lot of folks off having fun :love:
I know I have been MIA lately - (my mom is in a nursing home 25 mi away and I go every other day to help her at meal time) and just the other "busyness of life" but trying to hang in there.

Yes, I am here today because yesterday all I wanted was salty things and sugar - I need to be checking in so I don't continue that TODAY - so here I am :thumbsup2

K - how great for you - a trip to WDW and a loss - just stick with it and you will continue to see progress :cheer2: :cheer2:

me - I have to say that I am just happy right now to not be gaining - I continue to be a stress eater and I am trying to control that - I want to be in the "mind set" of losing - going to Boston in 3 weeks and I don't want to be on the high side before I leave ..................

Have a great "on plan" whatever that is for YOU today - I am off to treadmill - really humid here too - that always makes me feel "lazy" at night and I don't do much - hopefully that will subside today too...........

okay - ONWARD to the tming..........
