Since they don't want you to use sunscreen at DC are there lots of places (umbrellas abd cabanas) to stay out of the sun?

They don't want you to use your sunscreen. They provide one that's safe for use in their pools. You're not going to go without.

They do provide small packs of sunscreen. My family uses the Coppertone Sport Spray - we are spoiled by the spray and hate lotion sunscreen. One of the workers saw us with the can and checked the ingredients and we were given the okay. No way would I NOT use sunscreen on the Discovery Cove day. There are lots of umbrellas for shade but who has time to sit under them. Too many fun things to do and not enough time in the day! They had to kick us out of the water at the end of the day. The sand was brutally hot on our bare feet on our July visit. It was quite a challenge to run from shaded area to shaded area.
