Sunscreen wipes/sticks in carry-ons?

Does anyone know if it is allowed to take sunscreen wipes or the solid sunscreen sticks (sort of the consistency of chapstick) in your carry-on luggage. We're using ME and don't want to have to deal with collecting any of our checked lugage, but I know our little guy will want to hit the pool as soon as we arrive. If not, I guess I'll just suck it up and buy sunscreen in the giftshop as soon as we check in.

I would say if you are in doubt, pack it in your checked luggage. Apply it before you leave for the plane, it should be fine for a long time.

Since stick lipstick is OK, I would think that stick sunscreen is OK too. I am hoping to pack a stick of sunscreen so we'll have it when we arrive.

Has anyone flown with stick sunscreen since the new TSA lists were published?

Any update on this? We're leaving Sunday, and plan to hit the pool first thing, so it would be nice if we can carry on the stick kind. Otherwise, I'll buy in the giftshop. I just don't want to buy the stick have it taken away, and then have to buy in the giftshop too (just seems wasteful).

Wipes are fine. Solids are fine too according to TSA.gov, but some TSA agents are a little uninformed and over zealous, so if you are concerned stick to wipes or put the solid in your checked luggage.
