If you had gotten repeatedly whacked in the head and the back by a screaming brat behind you, ruining an experience you paid $100 for, I'm sure you would have been upset as well.
Anne, I cannot believe this! I mean, what kind of parents would allow their child to behave that way? You were certainly right to be p.o.'d! Patience has its limits!!!
I have a 2 yr old, and she'll be 3 and one day when she goes on the sunrise safari. She loves all things animals (I could park her in front of the elephants at the zoo for hours without a problem), and I really think she'll love the adventure. However, if that morning she wakes up on the "wrong side of the bed", for whatever reason, she WON'T be on the safari. People are just so rude sometimes! You have to expect the unexpected, but a bratty child was most likely bratty before they got on the ride! I think I'd give myself to the crocs out of sheer embarassment if Dierdre was smacking someone in the head (Or anywhere else!).
