Sunrise Safari question

I know that the Sunrise Safari is offered on Sundays and Thursdays and you need to be staying in a concierge room, my question is when do you need to be staying in the concierge room? Say I want to go on Thursday morning, do I need to stay on Wed. night or Thur. night?

I was told you need to stay the night BEFORE. Dean, on another thread, said that he was allowed to book the safari for the day he CHECKED IN. Another poster on that thread was told the same thing I was told on 2 separate occasions. So, I guess that it is best to see what MS tells you and hope that the answer is the one that works for you!

It also depends on availability. Once you have a reservation for a concierge room, you can contact Concierge Services to book the Safari. I am sure they will do their best to get you in during your stay.

That may be the rub. I booked with concierge directly and did not ask MS about it. It may be MS is giving out different info but I'd think Concierge is the final authority (of the 2).

I wonder if Concierge can answer this question BEFORE you book, since the answer might change the dates you book?

When we booked SS, we were told by concierge that we needed to be booked the night before. That determined which day they booked the safari for us. It didn't matter, because we were staying long enough to accommodate at least one. We did book the Thursday one though, since we didn't stay Saturday night.
