Sunrise Safari-Opinions

I need another opinion!

My husband, kids, and mother in law love animals. We are all taking a trip together in August and I decided to book a Club Level room at AKL and surprise them with a club level room but more importantly, Sunrise Safari. We are checking in on a Wednesday and then will do the Sunrise Safari on Thursday morning. Everything is set, room is paid for, concierge has been contacted so I can book Sunrise Safari on our 180th day, etc. I was looking at the crowd calendar on Easy WDW and I am now second guessing my big surprise.

AK is listed as a 5 on Thursday when we will be doing the Sunrise Safari. Magic Kingdom is listed as a 4 with EMH at 8am.

My kids are 4 and 2. I can't decide what to do at this point. We are only staying club level for one night and then moving to Kidani Village in a 2 bedroom suite. I'm wondering if I should just cancel club level and book another night at Kidani or maybe even Bay Lake Towers.

Any opinions? Should I stick with club level at AKL and enjoy the Sunrise Safari not caring about crowd levels OR should I bail on this plan, book a 2 bedroom suite at Bay Lake or Kidani and enjoy MK??

(The last time we went was in September with crowd levels at 1-2. The 4-5 crowd levels at the end of August are freaking me out...haha!!)

Never mind...the hubby was brought in on the surprise and he wants to do the Sunrise Safari. He doesn't think a crowd level of 4 is any different than a 5! Decision made...we are sticking with club level!

Good choice! It's AWESOME! We saw so many animals, the guides were fantastic and the breakfast is wonderful. You will also be done around 9 am (depending on how long you stay for breakfast) and will already be in the park when it opens to everyone else so have a leg up on any crowds at AK. Enjoy!

Really?? I keep going back and forth. I just called Disney and got a quote for a Contemporary room. We would save $65.00 by dropping AKL and going to Contemporary using the pin code I received.

I need to make a decisions ASAP. I like the idea of seeing the animals but the idea of an empty MK and going on rides using EMH is VERY VERY tempting too. Although my boys would probably like the animals MORE than the rides.

There are TOO many decisions to make!!

I had originally booked my AKL Club level room through AAA. Called today today to check price with pin and it is $50 cheaper!!! Woohoo!!! On safari we will go!!!
