SunRay Town cars

We (myself, DH, DGS-11, DGD-15) just returned from our first WDW vacation.DH and I had decided to hire a town car instead of using DME. We chose SunRay Transportation on the advice of someone on the TGM message boards. $90.00 round trip w/grocery stop ($82 if you mention MouseSavers). It was one of the best decisions we've made. Since there were four of us, we rode in an SUV instead of a town car. Bob and Roger are warm, personable drivers. They were funny and informative. They were not only on time for our departure, but even a little early. Town car service is definitely the way to go and SunRay Transportation is the town car service to use.

That is who we are using for our upcoming March trip, it is good to hear all the good reviews. So did you just mention mousesavers when booking or did you mention it when you paid? We are using them for a three way transfer which is costing us 120.00 but if we could get a little discount it certainly would help. Thanks for the info.

Glad to hear you had a good experience. I've always had "weird" transfers and have had nothing but excellent service on my past 3 trips. Gonna use them again in June & August. And yes, there is a discount available to members of www.themouseforless.com

Nope, no cost at all. It's another planning group I use to get info. You can read the posts through e-mails as well being able to read them on the site. Then, they have the website www.themouseforless.com with Disney information available.

Glad you had such a positive experience, Sunray is one of the best decisions I've made too, but no thanks are needed. That's what all these boards, whether they be TGM or DIS or MFL, are about. Sharing our experiences and opinions so that we can have a variety of information to make our own decisions and make our vacation the best they can be. And if you want a true towncar or even a van next time, I'm pretty sure you can request one for the same price.

I Just used Sunray again over Thanksgiving, with once again, EXCELLENT service. We booked them again for 2 cars ( 14 of us) for our January 2006 trip. We have used Bob for years and years. Sunray is an excellent company. So good infact, that I have personally recommended him to 2 family members going to Disney, 3 other families from here in Pittsburgh and another friend in Maryland. All have used Sunray and loved them. My sister in law is using him again in January as well. Bob is my personal driver, well, ok, not really. But I do have him as my driver twice a year.But this year we needed the bigger van for our trip at Thanksgiving, so we had Jim instead. Bob was so great, that he met us at the bottom of the escalator at the airport, even though he wasnt our driver. I thought he was there getting someone else. Nope. He just wanted to say hi and introduce us to Jim. I thought that was awesome of him. For all of you who havent used Sunray yet and are thinking about, DO IT. I promise you that you wont regret your choice. We have had nothing but outstanding service on out past .. oh... 7 or 8 trips. Our driver is always there meeting us at the airport in Orlando. We have never waited for him. They are always there before the scheduled time for pick up back to the airport. We have never had a problem with any part of our transportation with Sunray. I think it says a lot, when the driver you have had for the past 7 or 8 trips comes out of his way just to see you and say hello, even though he isnt your driver that trip. Glad to hear you've had great service with them, too. It's nice to know it's not all in my immagination. And why am I not surprised that Bob met you even though he wasn't your driver?!? I think that's part of what makes Sunray special. They do their best to accomodate their customers and make them happy. Like when I have a 7am flight. There's no gripping about having to pick me up at 5am. And if everything goes as planned, that might happen a couple times again next fall year and I know I have nothing to worry about booking with them. They will be there when I need them to be.

I think Jen has "Sunray" tattooed on her left cheek .

We used Sunray earlier this month. Roger was our driver. Was waiting for us when we landed. Handled most of our luggage, openned our doors....Just very professional. We had a prearranged grocery stop and never felt rushed. I have always used Tiffany in the past, but was treated very rudely when confirming my reservation. Their loss. My and Sunray's gain.

GLad you liked Sunray Ken. Ive been using sunray and Bob as my driver almost my whole disney experience. I have never had anything less than excellent service each and every time.
