Sunglasses

Hi I have a few pairs of fashion sunglasses but would like to get desent ones that cut out the glare. I need a pair that when the Florida sun is in front of you you can still see where you are walking. Can anyone recomend any ?

I suggest you get a pair that have polarizing lenses, these will cut down on the reflections etc. Anywhere that sells sunglasses should be able to offer this as it's quite common to get this on sunglasses. I have used glasses direct before now who should be able to provide you with designer frames and sunglasses lenses without a prescription if you don't need it, you can order 4 or 5 frames to try at home before ordering your glasses (but make sure the frames you order can be used with polarising lenses). This may be your best bet!

Get some at Duty Free, or if you can wait, in Disney Springs or a mall/outlet, you'll save a ton on decent frames.

I live in the Arizona desert which makes Florida sun look soft and easy on the eyes by comparison.

My wife and I both settled on Oakley's Prizm Black Polarized lenses ...we also enjoyed the older and now hard to find Black iridium polarized (1 percent darker but more muted colors)

If you think you will use them often, I would invest in a pair of Oakleys. As I work outdoors a lot I have 3 pairs and they hold up ridiculously well. They are polarized and UV protected and really do a great job of bringing out the colors. Besides, they don't give you a pinching headache or achey jaw from being too tight. They are really well built and will protect your eyes from damage. Not cheap by any means. But mine have all lasted 5+ years with just 1 swap of lenses and arm rubber.
