Sunday's "Early to bed, early to rise" riddle

Okay, after being too distracted to do a riddle last Sunday, here's another riddle much easier than my previous one. Send me a PM when you know the answer:

Duck turns off the light in his bedroom. The light switch is twenty feet from the bed, but he still manages to get into his bed before it is dark. How does he do it?

and I am NOT an insomniac....I was supposed to work today and got cancelled but I was already up and ALMOST in the shower when they called so I couldnt fall back to sleep.
