We have added a day to our vacation, so I could go to Epcot the Sunday they allow the public into the pin event. Would this be worth it for me to go? I'm not a pin trader, but my dd's have pins and they want to get more.

I understand you can get limited quanity pins, and just released pins.
I will be going to Epcot that Saturday or Sunday, so what should I do?

Public day starts probably around noon. The event is normally in the building between Canada and UK. There will be 1,200+ people trading pins, but remember you have to have a pin they want in exchange for a pin they have, so don't get disappointed if they say no thank you (or some lesser kind form of that).
There is also a "store" area where they will sell whatever merchandise did not sell during the event. Who knows what goodies you may find. If you want a peek at what may be left over, go to the ODPT site, click on the Sept pin event and then view the LE pins to be sold at the event.

At the event there are also multiple pin trading boards that the kids might enjoy! You have nothing to lose, check it out!

The boards are usually pretty well picked over by the time they open up to the public..I know last year we paid and figured that with it being public day they would refresh the boards quicker..it was the opposite..pins got to be mostly older sedesma pins and some very mass produced DS pins..great just to turn over some pins but no outstanding finds after 12PM..
