We leave on our trip Monday morning. As I complete my packing on Sunday night I’ll check this thread to see if any of you have updates or suggestions. :)

I’ve already packed my stroller rain cover. Not too worried about light rain while they’re in it but I’d feel so bad for them to come back to a soaked seat!

I know this weeks weather predictions can change. But 63 at night (right now) seems kind of chilly!

Thanks!

I was in the parks last night (Saturday) and it was chilly, had on gloves and the hood of my sweatshirt. If it's clear out or not full cloud cover it can get chilly as soon as the sun goes down.

We were there a week ago in the rain. Three of us had raincoats and DD without one (so we purchased a poncho) that were key to us staying in the park and enjoying low wait times. The day that it rained it never seemed chilly/cold. I had an ear wrap, gloves and my North Face parka for the non-rain nights. I was toasty, and my DD that wasn't as prepared (you know everything when you are 21) was pretty chilly (but wouldn't admit it). I am very glad that I grabbed both my rain coat and my heavy jacket as I was leaving the house.

Even when it rained last weekend it didn’t feel super cold to us. We were in light jackets and were just fine. It’s really high humidity so it doesn’t feel as cold as a dryer or windier 65 degrees would. With 80% humidity 75 and sunny feels icky to us though. It depends on what you are used to and what your tolerance is! If you can stay in the park through the rain it is amazingly empty though. Last Saturday morning was awesome, we were just walking on everything.

Mon & Tues was shorts in the day, jeans & jackets at night. Highs were mid to low 70s, morning was cold but the humidity made it feel warm within a couple hours & I was glad to be in shorts. Wed-Fri were jeans & jackets all day for us. When the sun came out the jackets came off. Umbrellas in the evening on Tues, there was a light rain that evening & Wed night at our WOC dessert party the rain was a bit heavier and I was glad I had my umbrella. There were only a few people with umbrellas but many had ponchos. We got the table in front of the party’s bar so our umbrellas didn’t block anyone. The rain wasn’t really bad that night but it was chilly to us.

We went before Xmas and FROZE. Highs were in the 50s then & we got so cold at night we left the parks early, last week with highs mid 70s to mid 60s it was much better. Yes, that made for cold nights but nothing warm socks, warm jackets & beanies couldn’t handle.

Pack your umbrellas, rain jackets & rain shoes (we didn’t actually wear the rain boots as they were too uncomfortable for us but we didn’t realize that until we walked out of the hotel room & were like “oh, woah, no these hurt too much!”), check the weather channel hourly forecast each day when you dress & utilize the radar function to keep an eye on storms in the area. The parks clear out nicely with rain. Tues night after a late shower & 10 mins before park closing we did Indy with a 10 min wait!

It was really chilly this week. During the day in the sun, you could get away with short sleeves and maybe even shorts (not us-we wore pants though) but have your jackets ready for the shade and when the sun goes down!! Other than that, just beautiful - it only rained at night and kept mostly dry during the last few days :) have fun!
