Sunday or Monday Check-In?

It may be trivial but my schedule allows the option of a Sunday OR Monday(Labor Day) check-in on a 5 night stay in September. Anybody know any good or bad issues for either day or is one just as good as the other?

being that the Monday is Labour Day, there would be no difference IMO as there will be alot of people staying for the long weekend. I would go on Sunday just to have the extra day.

If you are saying that you could check in Sunday and stay 5 nights OR check in Monday and stay 5 nights, I would vote for checking in Monday, especially as it's Labor Day. Lots of folks will probably visit for the long weekend and would likely be leaving on Monday, so you'll have lighter crowds and also a better shot at getting a good room at your resort. Now, if you're saying that by going on Monday, your trip is one less day, then by all means arrive on Sunday!!

i too think that if either way you will get the same number of days, check in on monday. i'm sure MANY people will be checking out on monday, which should mean that the crowds at the parks are a little lighter then on sunday. of course if checking in on monday means one less day, then go for sunday.

Yep, I'm saying I get the same number of nights either way. Your recommendations for Monday sound good. I have to throw last years' experience out the window since we were between hurricanes and everything was abnormal - although very sweet with low crowds. Looking like a Monday unless anyone else has other input?

We were there over Labor Day Weekend 2001, and the Sat/Sun was *very* crowded! Definetly Monday
