Staying at PB starting 5/20 and were planning on Sunday Brunch at The Kitchen. Does anyone have recent experiences at HR since the restaurant has been closed for renovations? Looking for a true “brunch” experience with breakfast and lunch options as part of our group prefers lunch. Also don’t want to go off-property (resorts and/or city walk area property) as we are planning a PB pool day the rest of the day.
Thanks!

Wondering when the Kitchen is expected to be back, hopefully by August..

We had a nice breakfast/brunch at RP. And I’ve heard the breakfast buffet at Sapphire Falls is good.

I'm not sure when it reopens but I have reservations for July 17th for breakfast. Then there is nothing available from the 18th on. I am assuming it was a mistake as I just booked it 2 days ago but it shows you can make reservations from today on to the 17th. 🤔

We had brunch at HRH in early June. It was served in a ballroom and most of the food stations were in the adjacent hallway. There was fruit, cereal, made to order pancakes and omelettes. There were a lot of chafing dishes with hot food - eggs, bacon, potatoes, and other things I can’t remember. We have allergies and our server was able to get some specific items made elsewhere. From the way he talked, it was in a kitchen a bit of a distance from the ballroom.

The Kitchen was supposed to reopen by July 11th, but it has been delayed by a few days apparently.

They do plan to open by the end of the week barring any other delays, seems to be last minute finishings.

Meals are still being served in the Velvet Bar, Avalon Ballroom and the Lower Lobby for now.

Here now at Hard Rock. The Kitchen is open as I just called and confirmed our reservation for tomorrow morning. Also signs in elevator and many other places advertising it.

Glad to hear it Jimmy Mouse...... ::yes::

Hope you enjoy your meals today there.

I wonder if they will increase the price after the remodel, In my opinion, the best breakfast buffet in Universal for a reasonable price for what is offered. We would travel from SF because of the better quality than SF.

Well, They are open and we did have Breakfast on Sunday but, (this is just my opinion so no one get offended). It sucked bad. Pancakes are rubber, French toast was a joke, grits were bland, Sausage gravy and biscuits were well below average, oatmeal was worse than instant etc. etc. Only thing descent were the eggs and bacon.

I`m sorry it was so disappointing for you and your family.

The Kitchen has always been my least favourite of the breakfast options, but many enjoy it.

Amatista at Sapphire has one of the best breakfast buffets onsite.

Might try that next trip during Halloween .
Do you recall a price and are reservations recommended?
