My 6-year-old daughter and I are leaving for WDW in about 13 hours! We'll arrive at about noon on Sunday. Since we'll only have a half day, and it's our first trip, I'd appreciate any suggestions on what to do. I know she will want to go on rides, but that means using a full-day ticket, which I would be willing to do if there were something special to do at night as well, i.e. a parade and/or fireworks.

I'd be grateful for any ideas from you WDW veterans!

Thanks so much!

Barbara

Why don't you take her to Fort Wilderness? There's a nice Petting Zoo area and
you can get a pony ride. My four year old loved it. We also went to the Backyard
B-B-Q because the Hoop-de-do was sold out. Afterward we went to the
Campfire Program and roasted marshmallows which we took with us.
The only drawback was he fell asleep waiting for the bus to go back to WL.
Have fun.
